Tubing & coolant + £30
And the waterblocks + £180

Also you want SP120's not AF fans, SP's are better for radiators as they create static pressure.

I would also not bother with the 120mm Rad.. will be a nightmare to tube up and will provide little extra cooling performance.

[Channeling the spirit of Ethermaster] The PSU cables can be seen through the window and will be normally black/visible so look a bit messy.

It is also pretty tricky to mount a tube res in the 750D due to the OD and HDD cages.

Ok, so some thoughts:

1. What PSU to power this? Would 860w be enough? I am looking at clocking to the max so looking like 1kw to make sure?

2. 2011, is there much benefit to the full 16x lanes in crossfire? I thought it would only be a 2-3% drop in performance from previous knowledge but haven't checked recently.

3. 2011 #2, I won't be doing a huge amount of editing, it will mainly be a gaming machine with some photography editing thrown in, thus my instance on the 1440p screen (I loved my dell before so sticking with them but anything better?), would 2011 still be best overall route considering how well 4770K performs?
 
I can answer your questions.

As your not doing a heavy amount of editing the 4770k will be ideal. As it does have hyperthreading which will help with editing tasks.

x16/x16 and x8/x8 have very little between them.. 2011 comes into its own when using more than 2 cards..
 
Doomedspeed, is there any speed difference between 1150 mobos that run dual x16 and 2011 that run dual x16? Be grateful for clarification. For example, this 1150 below claims to run at dual x16 and also has one special black PCI-E 3.0 x16 slot that allows it to bypass the PLX chip. Would this one be equal to 2011's in this respect, or are the 2011's even better for some reason?

I'm not sure how that board bypasses the plx chip

Plx chips are common in 2011 boards, and the 1150 boards that have bypassed it them tend to cost a massive premium. Though that force board is half price (while stocks last).

If that board fits into the budget, its a stunning buy at that price.

Thanks for the reply, had been wondering if that difference still existed when it came to the top-end 1150 boards (or some of them anyway). And yeah, it really looks like an incredible offer.
 
Think I will go ahead with my spec then and possibly bump PSU to next one up.
