tonight i mixed scorpion blood by mido with snake oil. what an amazing vape, proper amazing flavour, 2 of the best juices ever made.

Just vaped some snake oil and i have to admit, its a very different vape...got a hint of fuitiness about it but the exhale is very cool.

Interesting juice, might order some more but not really sure...will vape this tank then make up my mind.

I'm getting to be a dab hand with my drippers, perfectly happy with what I can do with .32 and .20 wire and cotton/silica in them.

Crap at SS mesh, tried quite a few different builds in the genny with mesh, cotton, silica, just can't really get the hang of it.

Really hope my Kayfun 3.1 clone sorts me out (finally shipped yesterday by singapore post, hurrah!) for a tank I can get on with.

Considering trying a carto tank too, they seem cheap to get set up with.

Trust message me your address and I'll post you a couple of SS Washers to put between the +ve post nuts. Shortens the distance between the last coil dogleg and +ve post, removing that hotspot.
Since adding the washer, I've been using my AGA-T2 as my main Genesis, most recently with the same SS 400 Mesh Wick & 1.6ohm microcoil for 8 weeks now. The only maintenance it needs is a flush through with hot water and a dry burn of the crud on the coil every couple of tanks of juice. Very underrated Genny, but it *needs* that washer!
 
Hi all,

I am new to vaping and a friend of mine has given me his kit that she no longer uses (e-cigarette company). Its hardly been used but has been sat in a cupboard for around 18 months. It lights up but no vapour actually comes out, is it likely that the atomizer no longer works?

I have tried with a spare atomizer with the same result. Any help appreciated

I've got a washer on there at the moment for some builds but it's too big and it gets in the way of everything, a couple of the right size would be dead handy.

How do you do your wick, solid or with a hole? I did have reasonable success with one a couple of weeks ago but it wasn't wicking nearly as well as I'd like. There was vapour and flavour there, but it was a bit of a struggle to get either.

Have you got a pic of your build?
 
Has anyone else had a really bad cough and throat from vaping?

Nothing to do with stopping smoking because I have not smoked for years.... Properly bad throat can hardly swallow and nasty cough with yellow phlegm, I am not sure chain vaping a lot is a very safe / good idea tbh.... Judging from the state of my throat and lungs at the moment....

imo
compared to a single spring then very little improvement
compared to both springs then they require less force to activate the switch.
they also do not fire when the locking ring is unlocked and you have a heavy atty full of juice ontop.

@Jaffa_Far - Posted the magnets in a standard envelope, first class. However, after reading the Royal Mail prohibited goods list they are allowed IF packaged properly in 2cm packaging and a field strength that does not go over a certain threshold, so they may get pulled by Royal Mail as they are quite strong.:(

got any pics or know what the device is called?
-if it is those ego type devices, make sure it is charged and ensure the head is on securely. If you have a multimeter you can check whether the atomizer is giving a resistance - if not the coil has gone and check the voltage the device is outputting.
 
@Majnu, if you're selling any then let me know, rather give you the money than ebay as you're sitting on several from the resale when people get assy aren't you?

@NirK, I had this and got tonsillitis each time I quit smoking and went to vaping on top of a mouth full of blood most morning and other nasties such a phlegm, there's many things they don't tell you about when you quit smoking!

Bad cough and stuff I got aswell when using 80/20 or 70/30 pg heavy mixes, try a 50/50 mix from somewhere and you'll suddenly notice that it's no where near as bad as it is currently.

Unforunately you can't get 50/50 mixes from your cheapo liquids full of nasties so best getting premium juices. I swear by Scope's juices and suggest those but there's several other good vendors/juices out there. Many people are pretty impressed with Snake oil lately too!

no, think you're mistaking me for someone else.

I bought mine for personal use, but I do have a few spares which I will post out free to people only if it slips through normal post.

I think that the magnets may cause problems if sending this way as they are pretty strong and could cause problems with the RM sorting system, so I'll see if Jaffa_Far gets his before sending any others out.

Mmm yes do you know any other good vendors? TBH most of the juices I have tried I do not like, maybe 3-4 I would actually want to use, I have a snake oil sample on the way as well. I have realised that other than DIY juices, the only way you can get something which tastes nice is to spend the money for it, cheap = junk pretty much, would rather not be putting some cheap crap in my throat / lungs. TBH I am thinking of just selling the ecig and stopping nicotine all together because vaping is a lot more expensive and difficult to find good liquids than I expected.
 
I personally only know of Snake oil, grants vanilla custard (good luck getting it easily) and Scopes e juice which I helped design the logo for. I solely use his stuff now so I'm probably not the best to ask as I only use his stuff and swear by him. His apple tart and raspberry are very nice indeed!

The question you have to ask yourself is why did you go electronic. I personally made the switch because of the health benefits and I hated the taste of tobacco and wanted an alternative that was as close to the real thing/better as I didn't want to quit nicotine completely as it makes me an ass!

How many were you on a day previously vs the cost you were paying previously. say you were on a 50g pouch a week that's about 15 pounds so the second you're vaping for only 4 weeks and have bought some relatively decent gear you've made your money back the the rolling costs week by week will be significantly cheaper and you get to reap the benefits.

Yup it is fully charged and the end lights up when you suck but no vapour comes out. I don't have a multimeter unfortunately. Here is a link to the images

I've posted some pics a few pages back, check my previous posts to find them - otherwise I'll put some more up later when I get home as I've got some different setups now.

In other news, I ordered a Pulse-G & full JM Mods 22 Clones set (18350, 18500 & 18650 tubes) in brushed SS, from Fasttech.com at 03:50am this morning and literally just had the dispatch email. Paid the extra buck for Swiss Post, so we'll see how that turns out. But for FT to not sit on the order for a week is pretty good going!
