*** The Official Playstation 4 (PS4) Thread ***

Well just went to game and traded in Fifa 14 PS3 for the PS4 version and £10.

Just awaiting on my delivery from Amazon logistics now, wish it was DPD as i'd at least have a window and rough idea when it would arrive! xD
 
Installed and running, just 5 minis to download the update, games are downloading now. Currently playing Killzone, very nice. I like how I can play while it's still installing (anyone know how you check the install progress)
 
Mines is in, new hard drive installed, currently performing a new system initialisation.

Is there any word when the iPad app will be out??
 
Got mine last night but only set it up this morning. The update was pretty quick for me, only 5 mins to download and install. Wish I had more time, cracked open Resogun which is awesome. BF4 should be coming in the post today, fancy that tonight!
 
Enjoying mine so far, not had too long to play with it. Considering I've been a staunch pc gamer most of the time, I'm really impressed with the graphics on Killzone. Hopefully the gameplay is as good when I get into the guts of it.

Some quite bad stutter in audio on cutscenes and when panning around in cutscenes. Not sure if that's something to do with it not being fully installed and reading from the disc etc.

Only other issue I've found with mine so far is there is 'noise' (snowy, ant-like effect) on the desktop (blue screen), - doesn't seem to be in-game but is annoying me a little. Anyone else got this? I'm using my own HDMI cable, into my reciever and then out to the TV. Didn't have this issue with the PS3, so assuming the cable is fine....
 
I hate you all.

I cancelled my pre-order when I was unsure what my mates were getting, now they managed to get some at midnight and I can't find anywhere that has them at all. *shakes fist*
 
Mines just arrived and its turned on :) ... so glad its working lol updated in few seconds!

Setup and updated, now turned off while I get ready to goto meetings... looking forward to some Battlefield 4 and Killzone later :) (and downloading Resogun).

Snowey effects I have got from a dodgy HDMI cable from the past, try swapping out the one that it came with into your receiver and see if that sorts it.
