On stand by mine still had the faint sound of fans etc as i think it was downloading a game, i wonder if its silent if thefes no tasks to do

If you want it to download stuff etc then leave in standby... it's actually designed to be in standby so no problem leaving it in stanby mode all the time.
You may want to check your options on the Power Save Settings to enable internet etc.
i need a psn trial if any one can spare one ?
Don't the PS4's come with a 14 day trial ?
If not send me a trust, I'll have a voucher from one of my games hanging around and I'll email you it.
same for me once ive entered my code for my Ps+ 365...

Just been playing on a mates PS4.
I have to say, it is pretty damn gorgeous to look at, both the console design itself and the ingame visuals.
One gripe though as we were trying to update the firmware with a USB Stick...Sony didnt leave much room above and below the USB sockets so a fat USB stick wont fit in, which we found out
Thankfully sorted after a quick trip out for a USB extension lead.

can anyone spare a free psn trial ? was expecting one in the box and also didnt get one in fifa
You get it when you sign into PSN on your PS4 for first time. If you have had any trial of PSN+ before you can't get it though from what I heard.
Yet another blue light brick here, what a let down.
Tried various hdmi cables and power cables on 3 different TVs. Wont boot into safe mode either.
Arranged for a replacement to be sent on Tuesday via Playstation Customer support (0844 736 0595 for others that need it) hopefully this one will play nice. The guy from Sony did say the ps4 has had more faulty units than the ps3. I hope that's not true seeing as the ps3 has been around for 6 years...

PSN coming back online, but won't be able to redeem vouchers. All my games for PS4 are PS4 game with upgrade vouchers....

Complained to Amazon CS that there wasn't a camera stand included in the EU bundle, so they are refunding the cost to buy the Official licensed PS4 Camera stand which is £15. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Officially-...342&sr=8-4&keywords=playstation+4+accessories
