Hey guys/gals

I have always been a huge Western fan, I own a 360 just for Red Dead so I have that one covered. I am now trying to collect all other games I may have missed. On the PC I now have these installed and working:

I also got another one called Outlaws by Lucasarts from fleabay but I need to find a 64bit installer that exists but I can't seem to find it. Does anyone know of any I have missed? PC/Amiga/Gamecube/Spectrum/C64/PS2. I know the emulation rules but I only need game names as I actually own and use the above systems for real.

Thanks in advance

Outlaws was a great game! The music was absolutely fantastic. As far I remember I never found a working 64 bit installer that did the job properly.

I found a guide ages ago giving steps of how to get old games working, but it was a lot of work and involved installing Windows XP to Virtual Pc, then installing the games to the shared folders and then a few other steps I can't quite remember. I never got around to doing it but I remember reading and seeing the odd video on Youtube showing the game working pretty good.

Hey m8, I found a 32bit installer which seems to work. I mean the game starts and plays but it only installs one cd so no idea what happens with cd 2.

It's not strictly a western, but Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath is western themed (an otherworld western) and is a very good game.

It's part of the Oddboxx collection; http://store.steampowered.com/search/?snr=1_8_4__12&term=oddworld

Ahhh thanks :) I actually had this in my library so I must have got it in a sale but never really knew what it was. Added to my Western category thanks :)

Mad Dog!

One of the first games I played on PC which got me into PC's in the first place. That + Hi-Octane and Doom and I was hooked

Can still remember the music from Outlaws like it was yesterday. Unsuprised on looking it up that the composer was influenced by Ennio Morricone heh.

Gunfright, whata game there morg.

Since we're on the 8bit road.

KANE!!!

Left field calling..... Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show/

Commodore 64 classic "Law of the West" looks amazing considering it was made in 1985

Outlaws is brilliant the music, voiceovers, sound effects from when Lucasarts were a force to be reckoned with ;) The 2 CD BTW are for streaming in game music try installing in XP 32 bit compatibility mode to see if it installs it also needs a patch from Lucasarts it was last updated in 2001 but they still host the patch (until Disney shut the site down). You need to keep the CD in the drive until it tells you to swap them over otherwise you lose the ingame streaming cd audio.

It definitely works on Vista 32 bit (I installed a few years ago) so should be a doddle to get running on Win 7 in a compatibility mode ;)

...and yes I bought this game when it first came out @ retail (£40 something which was a LOT of money back then for a game ) it was in a massive empty box apart from the CD case I kept

There used to be a western RTS game, I think it was called "America", you could play as outlaws, natives, and U.S army, I loved it at the time it was released but could never find it again.

Can't see it on fleabay atm will have to search around to see if it can be bought anywhere.

I have the version that was for xbox/PS2 but it works on PC using the mouse:

I did rip the iso to HDD and I am trying to make a batch file to mount and run it so I can make the batch into a .exe then add to steam. BUT when running from a batch file the game loads but gives an error which is kinda odd as it works normally.
