The MSI is the only 270 I've seen with 2 6 Pin connectors, which kind of makes it even more mind boggling as why it exists when the 270X is pretty much identical except for the clocks.

the Msi R9 270 only has 1x6 pin connector

That Gigabyte is 1280 shaders, it's an error on their page.
