Hi guys

Just got a Corsair RM850 and it came with an EU style plug.

Do you guys get adapters for these sort of plugs or is it ok to just swap out the cable completely for a different one?
Don't like the idea of using some cheapo adapter which blows up or something

Just use another kettle lead and make sure it has the correct fuse.
If you bought the unit from a UK retailer, then I would write and ask them to send you one. If they are not very obliging, then drop Corsair a note, as the unit should have come with one.

Mine is the same, got it from here. Just give them a call with your order number and I'm sure they will be happy to oblige (with extra Haribo too ;) )
I just used the one I had with my old power supply, still 13 Amps so its good.
I think a 5 amp would be fine too if my maths works.......possibly

I got it from OcUK

I messaged them asking about it and they said all corsair PSUs come with the EU plugs and there's nothing they can do about it

no they dont... i have just received a RM 650 from them fully sealed in shrink wrap un opened and it had a UK plug with it...it says uk on the sticker on the brown internal box where the serial number model number is
