I didn't, although with the latest firmware/driver update it's supposed to be quite good. Not up to wacom digitiser standard but way better than normal capacitive stylus.

That's a good idea, maybe I'll wait until early next year when I'm across there. Left my Nexus 7 on a plane last week and am twitching to buy a replacement but increasingly bored with Android and liking Windows 8.
 
A couple of questions please

What's the headphone audio quality like ? Although I guess as w8 full you could plug in an external dac ?

Can you install programs to sd ?

Am I right in thinking that if I want a 64 version I have to order from dell prof site rather than the consumer one ?

Just got an email from Dell est delivery date is now 13th January because of too much demand for the product that sucks.
Dell change delivery date to 5 weeks later an you still can't cancel the order glad I ordered the 64 GB version an not in a rush got my new surface 2 pro to use.

Nokia did the same with the 920, only made what they thought they could sell, come the launch you couldn't get one for love nor money with severe under-supply problems. Microsoft and the Surface RT on the other-hand .............
 
Also had a 13th Jan email, but only for the pen order number. For some reason the pen and the tablet have separate order numbers.
 
Just had a 5 minute play and confirmed that I definitely want one, great size and weight for a companion device that I can install Office on to and be productive if necessary.

Really want the LTE one when it comes out though.
 
I ended up cancelling my order for the 64gb model from the Dell Business site as the delivery seemed to be taking far too long. Went for the 32GB one and ordered a 64GB Samsung micro SD which should be here early next week :)

Unfortunately there's a 1-2 week delay on the stylus but it's not a game changer to not have it.

Still struggling to find a good folio type case for it that'll hold a keyboard as well though.
 
Still waiting for my 64GB. They still claim delivery on the 10th. But its going to have to be dispatched by the end of the week to make it here from China.
 
Been playing with mine for about a day now, love it.
Its all so snappy and fast its really many miles ahead of any other atom chipset ive ever used, Not tried too many games yet as waiting on my 64gb sd card and usb otg adapter but they few I have tried work great (cs 1.6, pVz, thomas was alone, super frog, Game dev tycoon).

I too am after a nice folio case with kb space only one I have found so far is "Cooper Cases(TM) Infinite Executive Dell Venue 8 Pro Tablet Keyboard Folio in Black" for £28.
 
Size an weight is perfect bought a friend a samsung tab 3 8 inch tablet for a Christmas present an it's much easier to use then my heavy surface 2 pro for watching movies an web surfing of course the Dell venue 8 pro will be even better can't wait to get mine not many choices of cases yet seen the Poetic SlimBook Case for Dell Venue 8 for £26 looks nice if you don't want a keyboard attached.

Looking at these lead times I think I'm going to wait for a Surface or Lumia 8" option in the new year (probably a better chance of them running RT too)

Ignoring the pen, delivery time seems much improved, around a week now.

EXCEPT my order Dell!!!! People on HotUKDeals ordered this week and its due to be delivered today for them. But my order on the 22nd November is still in production.:mad:

I know what you mean. I ordered mine within the first week of it going on sale on Dell UK and I received an email just yesterday to say that its been pushed back to the 16th Dec.
