Our day again, Some crazy own goals but we did dominate them and should have scored a few times regardless. Downside though the injury to Gerrard but was half expected by few of us.

Now the next few games will be a challenge so bring em on!

FT 1-1 thought we were in for a battering considering recent performances and injuries but disappointed with just a point, great effort from the lads.
 
So Chelsea losing and City drawing, just need Spuds to lose and its a perfect weekend with Utd losing today as well.

Need to take advantage of these slip ups now, i imagine Chelsea will spend millions of £'s on new players come Jan.

Bayern won 7-0 today, and Dortmund vs Bayer is on at 5:30 for those that don't know. Bayer have been crap in europe but great in the league, could be a cracking game.


The league is retarded at the moment, the bottom half all vying to be the worst teams in history, the "big" three in Utd, Chelsea, City(budget, recent champs, budget, etc) all being either god awful or just inconsistent.

Frankly I expected nothing from Moyes considering the squad he inherited, nothing special, but nothing this bad either. Mourinho I thought would do best of the three new managers as he's been here before, at this team, with quite a lot of those players. City have played some truly brilliant football, I think miles beyond Chelsea's best so far this season, but have struggled away... but with a new manager to the league, club and players I don't find that all that surprising.

Another crazy game today. There were spells, particularly in the 2nd half, where we were playing some excellent stuff yet managing to fluff every chance we created. There were then spells where we were atrocious yet ended those spells scoring lucky goals. I think Sakho might get the 2nd goal though, it was on its way in if Collins doesn't touch it.

Just seen Nolan's red card again. The only possible explanation for that challenge is he fancied having Xmas off.

Alternatively, hopefully we can smash Sunderland tonight and then the Toffees turn you over tomorrow.

Not going to happen unfortunately, especially with the team we have picked :(

Just looked up Everton to check on their away record, didn't realise they had only lost the one game. They aren't noticeably weaker away from home, if they won tomorrow they'd go joint second on 30 points :o .

They are hard to beat and Lukaku... scares me, and everyone else alive :p

I think we are clear favourites though, but good mobile attackers, in form with Lukaku bullying our defence there should be holes for them to exploit. I think they might be the team I worry most about playing at home this season. City so dodgy away and with a defence that can be hit this year, and Chelsea aren't great defensively and don't really have a top striker this year. Utd... lol.

Southampton were the other side I would have worried about most at home, and they weren't bad, and we weren't great and rather gifted both goals, but that is one of our toughest home games out of the way and with all 3 points.
