*** Nexus 5 THE Official Thread ***

That's something you should know :) I personally need 32gb but do you? Do you take a lot of pictures? Store videos, music etc on your phone? If so probably.. As I've said it's up to you

Since there's no removable storage I went for the 32Gb. It costs more, but for me it was more of a 'what if' factor, and that I wouldn't want to carry around an OTG cable and USB drive if I wanted more storage.

My 4s is pretty much full of pictures and videos! I just hope the camera is almost as good as the 4s with the n5's latest update!

Just got the OTA to 4.4.2 on my N4.

The switch from Camera to Video recorder doesn't do the same thing where it goes darker though...

Another bug perhaps?

I got the 442 update OTA. When I tried to install I got an error and the phone crashed. Wouldn't restart. Had to wipe cache in system recovery. Will 442 have been installed? When I check for updates nothing is available. Worried if I do get a notification it will brick my phone. i have rooted my n5.

I thought the Nx5 battery life was one of it's weaknesses? (according to reviews)

Anandtech are the only site with a decent battery review, most other sites use the phone for 2 days and make a quick judgement as they rush to release a review.

From this forum and xda most people find the battery life to be amazing.

It's an improvement from the Nexus 4 but it's still a smaller battery than the alternatives and using them heavily the Nexus 5 isn't going to compare well.

The latest version of Android does seem to be more efficient, the idle drain seems amazingly good but I've also managed to completely destroy the battery on a long train ride with only moderate use.
