received mine today very nice not had much time to play with it yet looks real well made love the feel of the back great little device its really portable not like my surface 2 pro which I find bit heavy.
Just change the brightness settings on the Dell it comes why to dark colours look much better now.
Im just started to download some steam games onto my Samsung 32 GB mircoSDHC UHS-I upto 48 mb/s class 10.

I seem to be refreshing the tracking page to see where it is at least 20 times a day.
I just can't think of any x86 software I'd want to run on an 8" tablet personally, and I'd much rather have the additional security over 32 bit Windows.
I get why people want the compatibility, but on a tablet this size it's a double edge sword for me.
To give you a baseline my 64 GB MMC:
Its possible the 32 GB version might be slower, sometimes the case larger = faster.

I'm having second thoughts about mine now. Starting to think that an 8" screen with no keyboard dock isn't a good combination.

Im getting on ok in desktop not got the Dell stylus yet so using my bluetooth mouse makes it so much easier also have a bluetooth keyboard love this device so far its light weight an powerful text on screen is nice an clear even with my old eyes.
Have compared it to my friends Samsung tab 3 8inch the screen quailty is about the same but I perfer the sound quailty on the samsung.
Im using the Anker ultra slim keyboard was only 20 pounds on the green forest but mainly just use the mouse an on screen keyboard dont need to type often so its no problem.
Been playing Civ 5 on the main hard drive looks an plays good just slower to move each turn also been playing games on the mircoSD card.

Mine arrives tomorrow. Looking forward to a full Windows tab especially after the 2013 Nexus 7 which I did not get on with.
Anyone recommend a decent case other than the Dell one.

Is that the 64GB model?
Also, have you had a look at the Poetic case for it? Seems to be getting good reviews on the rainforest, alternatively there's a Cooper case on there with a BT keyboard built in - though it looks like one of the generic ones on eBay at half the price.
Yes 64GB, I have ordered the Poetic case and a USB adapter lead thingy.

Awesome, let me know how you get on with the Poetic case if you get a chance please, I was a little put off by the leather surround that runs around the screen but it does look a good quality case.
I've read that they're picky when people change some of the settings in the BIOS to get a bit more speed out of the cards, haven't had mine to test yet unfortunately
It has arrived and it is superb. Only had a quick play about but it's so much nicer to use than the Nexus. It really is full Windows 8.1 in a handheld device. It's very snappy and runs everything really well.
Only downside is trying to work out how to access everything using touch and the back gets quite warm. Other than that it's a fantastic device.

One thing I have noticed is mine does not have Office Home & Student just a 30 day trial to Office 365 ?
I'm sure it was meant to come with office but cannot find anything about it anywhere ?
It seems mine only came with an Office trial according to the order.
But the product page states.
Seems Dell have done a crafty here. Time to call them and spend hours speaking to people who have no idea... Grrrrrrrr

Fuming is not the word. Dell are useless.
The Tablet does not include Office home and student according to them only a free 30 day trial to Office 365. I would have to purchase it for an extra £109 if I wanted home and student even though it is stated as being included on the site.
I have told them to collect and refund it they can go to Hell for all I care now.

According to Dell it is only the 32GB and not 64GB. Even though my order states Office home and student 2013 they will not have any of it.
I have been forwarded to the manager now who is going to look into it for me ?
It's hard work trying to get them to understand what I mean.
They have now agreed there should have been a code included for office home & student. They have given me a reference and once authorised the code will be sent to me from the manufacture plant. No idea why they cannot just email it to me but hey ho....
On a brighter note this is by far the best tablet i have used. Its taking a bit of getting used too but everything just works so well. The screen digitizer is so much better than the nexus typing is easy and accurate....
