you need to open a credit account, then they charge you full price, which you have to pay the full amount then they give you £30 of credit is what it says.

therefore you pay full price for the items then get £30 of credit added to your account.

I'll just grab NBA for PS3 for £25 and just upgrade then, not risking it. End of the day, if I got the PS4 version I'd be playing it up until 2K15 and it will be worthless to trade in anyway, as is FIFA.

Will stick with a month of PSN for now as I'm on a budget with other things, then grab 3 month/or a year's PSN in January!

I don't have it myself, but from comparisons I've seen online the PS4 version looks cleaner, and has less aliasing

This is my first PS since the original, and the whole experience has been very positive. I have not encountered a single problem, no crashes, locks, issues with updates etc. etc... the controller is superb, with no handling issues coming off the 360 pad.

My PS4 is whisper quiet, apart from the spinning-up of the disk, and it gets no more than warm, sat under the TV.

I have no worries recommending it.

Had to cancel my Amazon order for NBA 2K14, turns out there's no upgrade code :/

Now I'm tempted to use 'Very' again, people have had success from it and the deal would be the best one for me at the moment. I think they return the £30 credit back into your account, not sure though.

Anywhere else where this is cheap for PS4? Or PS3? (It has to contain the upgrade code though)

Last year PSN+ had some crazy deals appear where it was like £29.99 for a years sub in stores and online or you could buy 3 month subs for like £7 iirc.

Also factor in that you can usually buy £25 of credit for £21.99, means buying credit for cheap and then buying PSN+ on store when it's on offer is the best way to do it.

I don't think it will go on offer this year though because people are being forced to buy it for online play now, but you never know.

Had my PS4 since the 29th and all has been fine. I've turned the machine off and turn the plug off at the mains every night.

However last night I forgot to turn the mains off ( I did turn my PS4 off though )

When I booted up this morning to load Netflix for my son, it got half way through loading then just turned off.

I turned my ps4 back on and it started booting up and after 5 seconds cut off and did the same thing.

I then turned it back on again and it did a your system didn't shut down properly scan in safe mode and booted up normally.

Since then netflix has been on for about 5 hours and everything appears to be OK.

Needless to say I was a bit panicky and wondered why this might have happened - can't see it being anything other than a coincidence with me not turning off at the mains over night though...
 
It would be good if you could personalise the OS. Like reorder the apps, or put them in groups. Change the music and background etc.
 
Hi guys, Just completed Killzone and BF4 single player campaigns. I was after a bit more info on how to play online? I've never done this before so bit of a online gaming n00b! Where/how do I play BF4 online? If someone who has any free time could give me a bit of info on what I need (headset etc) and how to load it up on the game I'd be truly grateful :)

Discovered last night that the Blue Yeti mic works with the PS4! For those who don't know, it's a seriously impressive USB mic that has an in-built amplifier and external headphone connection.

So with the PS4 you can plug it in via USB (it comes with a very long cable too), use it as a mic and plug headphones into it with amplified sound. You can also just use it as a mic with no headphones plugged in. It would generate a lot of background noise though when transmitting as it's super sensitive.

Edit - Just progressed into the higher level racer races and the game has become very annoying for me. No matter what car you have and how fast every other car is quicker and you have to use turbo to stand a chance. Also the Police have now gone full on berserk. In a race they will target nothing but you and will throw everything at you no matter what. The Heat level goes up at a silly rate. When you are racing in a pack it's annoying that the police are just targeting you with everything they have.

The game was fine until I advanced on and now just feel a bit cheated. I'm not enjoying it as much now as every race is the same.

Wow, that's pretty good.

Would this mean that the NBA 2K14 game would be tied to my American account, but once I activate my PS4 system on the American account and download it on there, I can switch back to my main account and play from there?

I don't want to be adding friends again and I want the trophies on my main account.

Just asking, as my main account doesn't have PS plus, but my second account has a 14 day trial, yet my main account can use the PS plus because the system is activated on that second account, etc

EDIT: I just realised the cover says 2K13 yet it's PS4, what? :D
