Battlefield 4 Thread ~ Server details in opening post ~

Not been on this week, but the little game time I had went to Batman AO.

This weekend will be looking to get a good few hours in - though tonight is work xmas do :(
 
Getting back on the topic of abuse.
It can be an extra part of the entertainment. If someone is being an anushole then they are fair game imo.
(I don't agree with bullying less able/crap players though, because it could potentially put them off playing again and prevent them developing their skill set)

If you want abuse put OcUK as your clan tag - wherever we went last night we got abuse lol. I give it out in spades. Stoney got banned from the 95th because of funny retort to abuse from their admin.

Its all banter, heli n00b, sniper n00b and my fave you-n00b!
 
thing is people understanding banter in mp games.

some banter is maybe for a laugh,fun but not well executed :p people may think what a dick but the person maybe was just having a joke but it didnt work out.

some people have weird sense of humour , im one of those :D so i say random **** quite a bit. some may take that the wrong way and do but its just a bit of fun.

sometimes banter is a test to see if people can play through it ;) very common trick and some people will rage hard then play bad :). barracking is very common in many sports or games. some people will actually play better when mad .

used to try this with people when seeing if they were decent or not in proper games ;):p. if banter rolls off there back and they carry on without playing bad you know they are fine to play or if they get mad and play better you have a little trick to up there game when needed by p****** them off :D

any decent admin will know most of this and apply some logic and not go full blown power happy on the ban hammer though a lot dont.

I agree to some extent. I am quote well known for dishing out a piece of mind to players who don't listen to orders. Actual 'skill' I don't care about, but people who don't listen to orders or do things that benefit the team will usually be on the receiving end of rage.

The Semi auto shotguns and the full auto USAS 12 maybe

But you need to be just as good with your aim if you intend on using a pump action with full choke / slugs
 
had a fun round last night with some of the TFU group on conquest large zavod. joined in quite late into the game, was on the winning team and took two flags we didn't have and had a decent killstreak but inevitably died...but then ofc it balanced me to their team...all my hard work...has to be re-done xD but we battled it out, we managed to hold out quite well but lost unfortunately. but I'm more happy about being pretty late into the game I managed to rack up 50kills (22 deaths) and take the top spot on our team (and second over all to top player on other team with about 1k more points than me xD ). felt pretty proud of that as I was mostly doing INF work around B/C/D. had some sexy little streaks....but then would rage when some people took wayyyyyyyyyyy too many bullets to die!!! (funnily enough it was the top player......:p )

I am an auto-shotgun player who uses the DVB-12 with full choke.

Unlike the USAS in BF3 the DVB really does have a restricted range. The gun is lethal in CQB but thats what a shotgun is for.

I use the gun due to the poor netcode, I have more chance of a kill but also a higher chance of being killed.

Good assault rifle players don't like being killed with it but I find most of them will happily run into a CQB or tight walled situation, expecting to get the same amount of kills as they do on the open field.

Must say, I don't really care what weapons people use.

Sure, I hate it when there's dozens of snipers, or camping mortar spammers, or people using RPG's on maps like Locker, but I wouldn't expect them to stop playing with their weapons of choice, or want to restrict them - I just see it as a means that I/my team need to adapt to figure out how to overcome these people and work around them.

Though I do care when people exploit glitches.
