Vieri was one of my fav Inter players back in the day so I just thought rather than buy a load of crap players and make another team. I would buy him for the fun of it what's the worst that could happen ? If he is really terrible then I just sell him back on, I only paid 850k for him so I won't exactly lose much. Then again he could be the best player I ever had...

As to how he play's.... I can't comment yet, I mentioned already in my post which you just happily ignored by the sounds of it. I bought him last night after I had quit playing games. I will try him out tonight.

It's like you expect any player over 1mil to just be god like Ronaldo's. You need to really loosen up some people play this game for fun (at least I try too :p /raging aside) You seem to play this game to kickoff abuse.

Yeah I agree, it's like paying say, 200k more for an in form on an otherwise reasonably cheap player. You gettting 200k extra worth? No but that's not the point.

I use players I like in real life as well as players I've used before in FIFA and enjoyed playing with. Sonny probably uses Ibarbo and chip through balls from his CBs and thinks he's playing good football.

I used Aguero in fifa 12 and 13 iirc and what he excelled at in those fifas was shooting, in the box all you had to do was a finesse shot and it was a goal from any angle 9 times out of 10, it's ridiculous how easy it was to score with him given even a tiny bit of space, not tried him in 14 but hopefully they dumbed down his shooting a tad.

I have Jovetic, Etoo, Balotelli and Cavani, I also use Menez and Di Natale as CAM's

again I don't even use the kick off through ball thing for goals unlike Rusty who admitted to using it. I did it once against Robert to put him on the back foot and get the ball up deep into his half. I haven't tried to perfect or nothing unlike Rusty who has watched KSI's tutorial on how to do it 100 times so he now scores 9/10 chances he creates from it.
 
Hopefully a couple of Liverpool players get an inform this week to add to my Liverpool squad :D Really like Henderson in game, an IF would be great.

Yeah I heard he was decent. He's probably especially proficient in lofted through balls from the kick off with that non-rare boost :D.

We should have a game again soon. I was on a self forced week break from FIFA. Wasn't enjoying it all - but having much more fun now. Ditching Seasons has helped massively. It's just full of plonkers with pacey defensive midfields lofting through balls at the perfect time that your defence spazs out giving them a clear run on goal and the infamous kick off glitch.

I think I was enjoying Pro Clubs more. Can have a right laugh in that. And nobody abuses the kick off glitch in that game mode that we've come across anyway. :D

So after a few games on the PS4 I noticed a few changes from the PS3. Noticeable the graphics and the general game play is a lot smoother although the joy pad does take getting use to. Still cant seem to make the transition from D-Pad to the joystick.

One change I noticed was that it seemed a little harder to score 1 on 1 compared to PS3 although headers remain the same. I think the biggest change I noticed is that you really cannot press the shoot/jump button too early otherwise the player will miss the ball completely. This never happened in the PS3 version and during a game last night I pressed the shoot button too early resulting in a complete air shot :D .

Also, I tried to read the opponent jumping up to clear a free header only for him to dummy me as he completely missed the ball allowing it to slowly roll to his GK.

Cant seem to get Aguero in the game only had 3 games the final game he scored 2 (didnt score in the other 2) ill give him a whirl tonight and see what i fancy, not sure who to partner him with either he and Eto'o wasnt too bad might stick Benteke up with him for a target man.

Haha, last year Henderson was the best silver I used - was just a fantastic all round player.

Yeah I'm up for a game whenever I'm on, just give me a shout! I played pro clubs a fair bit on the PS3, not tried it yet on the PS4, does it feel much different?

Benteke is a one trick pony, Jovetic is master of everything apart from finesse shots.

Etoo is also really well rounded apart from passing, he scored some crazy headers due to his pace launching him into the cross, as well as having an insane right foot power shot into far corner.

Benteke was amazing at the start but since they have made crossing inconsistent now and dumbed down his OP finesse shot, I would never use him over Jovetic who is quite tall and got good heading.

Jovetic is dreadful for me Benteke is probably my favourite striker in the prem an I've used them all, wins lots of corners and Crosses, cracking long shots, finishing and Finesse coupled with his strength and good runs off the back man he's a beast my top scorer in the club but I try play Eto'o and Sturridge which is now Aguero but a lot of time feel id be having loads more success if Benteke was on the pitch.
 
Here's my one & only Tip.

Guardado on LM. I have Villa & an inform Koke & Guardado with hunter on ****** all over the pair of them, cheap as chips an all & to watch him fly up the wing you'd think he was on a motorbike. :p

I'll screenshot my FUT when the servers are back up I've been meaning to do it for ages. :)

Yes.

You can get a 14 day free trial but after then you'll need to pay. PS Plus has been exceptional value for money though prior to PS4 release so if they continue that you'll get a lot more than your £40 worth over the year :).
