Hi so I am building my first ever pc and have taken the stance that this is something i am interested in so i just need to dive in and give it a go, which i have done, i have ordered most of the components now and would just like some opinions as to if this is going to turn out a good comp of if u think i have made any mistakes, and if so, possible solutions. Please remember i am a nube so dont start bashing me if i made any mistakes this isnt CoD :D

Ok so for the processor its a 3.6 ghz quad core A series fm2.

For the graphics card I have chosen a 7870 DD 1Gghz. This has 2gb of GDDR5

For the ram i have chosen 4gb of DDR3 SD RAM.

HDD 1TB.

PSU 500W CX500M.

and the motherboard again i cant remember the exact model but it is a gigabyte, fm2 chipset, has all the needed connections.

Hi yes i can cancel orders if needed why?

If you can tell us how much this is costing you and what your total budget is, we may be able to spec you a better system.
Can you list the components from your order and try not to use anything thta mentions a competitor, as it is against forum rules.

If you had given us your budget we have some very good spec builders who will probably be able to spec you a very good pc with components that will compliment each other and give you good value for money.

My advice would be to listen to idleman and cancel the order, then let him spec you something.

But thats just my perspective.

if you have read the thread then you would know why we have asked if you can cancel your order!
tell us your budget and do you need everything? case, os etc.

I have a case and my budget is £500-700 i am sorry if im missing things its my first time even on a forum just looking for some help and advice and thanks to u guys for trying to help me so far :)

And ok i will cancel orders and start again nothing has arrived as of yet

That is probably a good idea fella,

Ok lets see if we can get you started, you say you have a case already? What is it?

Do you need a keyboard, mouse and monitor? Do you have a copy of windows OS or do you need one?

Will the pc be used for Gaming? Web browsing? Video Editing? Photoshop? Or just an all round general PC?

Ok, i have a keyboard mouse and monitor, and i will be it will mostly be used for gaming and web browsing, i have windows 7 and i will post the case model very shortly
