*** The Official Playstation 4 (PS4) Thread ***

I don't think it's allowed, but that is possible and probably against their terms of service.

I would maybe do it with a brother or close friend, but you have to be careful if a console dies on you that you de-activate it before getting another one.

Also I'm unsure about if you could both play online at the same time on the same game using that method, if that does work then yeah would be worth doing for cheap games but only with someone you trusted as they would have the password to the account, etc as well as access to the registered credit card, etc.

Just don't give them the Amazon account password, and only tell them the PS account but yeah the main thing is if you can both play at the same time I read once downloaded you can log out and into your proper account and play it so id hazard a guess and say it's possible to both play online at the same time and it could be ridiculously cheap.

If the streaming works well on the Vita I don't see why Gakai won't be a success.

It works well on the vita on a local network, but probably not equally for all game types - if playing an online FPS or fighting game any input lag is going to put you at a disadvantage, which would be the same issue that Gakai will face.

This shouldn't be an issue in a lot of games however, so fingers crossed it works well as could be a great service.

Zen Studios' Zen Pinball 2 for the PlayStation 4 is being delayed by a week and will launch on Dec 24

The PS4 version of the game was originally slated to launch today. Loertscher said the delay is a result of the hiccups the studio encountered bringing a complicated game to a new platform, but these problems are quickly being ironed out.

:(

Just read on HUKD a way to get half price games on PS4 by making a US account sharing it with a mate going halves on the cost £18 each and getting the digital code.. Then making it primary on both consoles Is that allowed as well, that's a good idea.
No it is fine, but it is the main reason Sony dropped activations to 5 to 2, only issue using them up is if you ever wanted to go to a mates house and log into your account on the off chance to play a dd game say you wouldnt be able to as youve have used all your activations...

Just remember that if either consoles go kaput youll need to reclaim your activations (think the SEN website can let you do that now) before you can reactivate the new one, which used to mean calling up Sony.

Think that covers most of it (and the obvious thing that US games will need US DLC still)...

ps3ud0

AC black flag is an epic game, much better then ac 3 , the naval battles are IMO really good. graphically its like playing on my pc, really impressed with it...

Mind you, split the missus over the weekend, had enough of her nagging , she even got me my ps4 for my 40th few weeks back, but our problems have been so deep that I've just thrown the towel in, and moved out , so tonight I get a part furnished house , I'll set me 42" tv up, plug the ps4 in, house i'm going to even has a 60mb virgin cable connection and enjoy some large screen gaming , considering I've been using a 24 monitor as missus wouldn't let me use the telly in the living room, this'll be the first time I've used my ps4 on a larger screen.

so, dominos, four pack of beer, ps4 tonight for me, much better then a nagging I'd normally get. before I get blasted, our issues have been deep rooted, the writing has been on the wall for some time now sadly..

You my twin counterpart because i too just thrown the towel with my missus and moved out and now gaming on a 42inch screen on my ps4 for the first time!

not as good as pc which is his point..

I will invite u around my house to play bf4 on my PC and you will see what i mean :)

on topic the ps4 is decent visually

I think Killzone is better looking than anything seen on anything else tbh.

It's just the hardware being well coded for which is something that rarely happens on PC.

Killzone looks absolutely stunning. The detail and textures are awesome. It does go to show what the ps4 is capable of. Just wish I could play KZ with a kb/ms as I'm shocking with a controller on fps.

Quick question: As I recently become a PS+ member are the game saves I already have (created before becoming a PS+ member) automatically backed up to the cloud or do I need to enable a feature?

Just thinking from a HD upgrade stance - I assume it will just "download" my saves once the relevant games are reinstalled and I sign in.

Killzone impressed me more than bf4 to be honest and im mostly a pc gamer. I was definatly surprised especially with some of the texture work. Just look at chapter 4..nothing in bf4 for me wowed me like that.
