Someone mentioned guns work differently than cod, I am hopeless with the guns in this game unless I have time and spot the enemy first and he's quite close to me.

What do I need to do if he's like 50-100 metres away?

Aim a touch higher, guns in this game have more realistic bullet drop.

The servers are reporting back false information to the server browser in the game.

It's why you keep getting server full for servers that aren't full also

You need to factor in bullet drop and burst fire at range.

I feel about as useless as a fart in a space suit at the moment. I absolutely hate the controls for the helicopters and jets. Although I'm getting my arse handed to me every few seconds I'm determined to stick at it. I wish there was some sense of team work but it's just a free for all.

finally COD players might actually be realising, just because they can average a 2:1 KD ratio might not actually automatically make them an SF warrior in real life

Hopefully not opening a can of worms here but does anyone find the graphics on the Xbox 360 in multiplayer are absolutely appalling? Everything feels so washed out and low res.

I know the Xbox 360 isn't a latest gen console, but I don't remember seeing such poor graphics before.

At that range I almost always burst fire so just keep tapping the trigger and you should end up with more bullets on target and more kills and maybe stick to a weapon you like and as I said earlier use the test range on some targets .

This will take some getting used to but it feels a lot better than COD now that I am getting into the game more.

I take it bullet drop also effects sniper rifles?

I will need to try out this shooting range I saw someone mention somewhere

It's more obvious on sniper rifles. If you go onto the firing range map thing, whack on a huge scope and watch it you can get a feel for it.

I am a terrible shot mind, but I like recon and usually finish mid table (BC2 BF3 and now BF4) mostly on spots, lased targets etc.

What is the spotting a target thing? If your aiming at someone you press R1 before trying to kill them or something?

Yes. It will put a yellow triangle above their head for the rest of the team to see for a while.

You then get points for if someone else kills the target

Make sure you aim down sights for spotting and hold R1 for a split second. Took me a while to figure that out lol.

Eh?

I do most of my spots without the scope while reloading (LMG's), and just tap R1.

I also attempt a spot if I think someone is hiding in some bushes or I hear gunfire/explosions from a certain direction, and more often than not I will spot someone without seeing them
