Asked to put up a little summary of this case by someone who wanted it whilst at the shop.

Advantages:

- Great air flow, path of air travels straight through the primary hardware in the computer.

- Enough space to fit the Earth in. Case came with 3 fans, Ive taken one of the Corsair ones out and added 4 Antec fans that are more silent. As well as this I have the radiator for CPU liquid cooler, and still have bags of space. This is great because I plan to fully watercool this system in the future and this case will provide the space and easy management to do so.

- Looks awesome. Although has no LEDs built in, I like a little bit of colour so I've added both blue and red LEDs and it looks great, especially with the gigantic window that nearly covers the entirety of the side of the case.

- Very neat. With the PSU mounted at the back, along with DVD ROM, and with all of the cable tidies, all of the unsightly things can be shoved in the other chamber of the case, which is very very useful.

Disadvantages:

- Stock fans are VERY loud, however not a problem for me as I changed them anyway, but if you're considering keeping these fans, they're very loud.

- Only one dust filter? Very odd, the front fans get a nice magnetic dust filter, but the PSU and top fans are not given one, however again, not trouble as I managed to put a dust protector on them using 2 from my old case side by side.

Well, that's it, I can't think of any more disadvantages for this case, it's a great case and if you're thinking of buying, I would definitely recommend it!

Not too fond of shape/aesthetics myself, but functionality wise it's brilliant.

I also had issues with stock Corsair fans on my 350D. Like you said, they're pretty rubbish, so I replaced them with a couple of Enermax fans that are significantly quieter.

Hey,

If it was a guy with a shaved head outside on Friday that was me lol

Cheers for your thoughts on it, still in two minds as to go for it or not.

What bothers me is the lack of dust filters as you mentioned, but also from pics I have seen the openings below the two hdd caddys in the main mobo compartment, they will also suck in dust :(.

Not that I have a dirty house lol my wife would go mad!!

Cheers

IMHO it's a nice case, but I just wish the 5.25 bays were the horizontal, and that it had more 3.5 HDD trays, plenty of space in the cold side (and for a fan or two as well)

What have you done for the lighting? I'm thinking of getting some ebay special multi coloured IR lighting for mine when I get it. I also have some warm white LED strip that might be going in there first though!!

I have one here its bloody amazing and the demcfilter set is killer. Red theme in this one with Digital IR mobo and psu and 3 140L red fans. Its a dream... it really is the best case i have ever saw so far.

I am lookingforwar to getting a silver one

My personal favorite. The black version is great, but there is something about the silver kinda gray gun metal look that really gets my attention.

@JoeC98, Glad to see that you are enjoying the case ;) Pretty clean build btw. I like how you have combined the red and blue LED, surprisingly, the outcome looks great.

Should have hit the GO button on one of these whilst they were under £110 and out of stock, seems they have gone up to pretty much £130 since they came back in stock :(

Thanks guys, there was me thinking I had completed my shopping this year with the Radeon 290.

Now I may have to get one of these and scrap my entire Corsair 600T watercooling project!

Anybody have any thoughts swapping the 600T for the 540? I know the 540 has much better capabilities for w/c

Cable management with this case is absolutely easy :), also if anyone is considering watercooling, although its designed for air cooling, life become so much easier thanks to that huge back part of the case.

I'm defo swapping to this case If I ever decide to flog the Haf X, I'm nuts when I come to airflow and keeping my kit cool, Though my Haf X does an excellent job already, With this I could angle the case to only show the window, and get a nice glow from it.

grey beard hasnt corsair looked at making a black hd cover yet out of plastic ? either with case or singular they would be a great addition ;)

all you need is a plastic cover same as a mechinical drive or ssd would cost pound max out of cheap plastic for each but make such a difference.
