I was looking at Rooney and might save up the extra if he is worth it. I use Distin as backup and he is pretty decent. Looking at Fer's stats they are insane for the price he costs!

Yer honestly he's great. Feels similar to Toure but for hardly any coins. I'd say he's better than his stats suggest too as a CDM

Wouldn't worry about it, seen it happen before and then in the last minute 3-4 people start bidding.

I did something really stupid last year though, put IF Cavani up for 150SP at like 3 in the morning and he sold for 1-200k under his going rate

Lost 2 games in the last 17 I was on a 14 match unbeaten run too.

I'm really hoping this form continues! Main reason isn't even scoring more goals but just somehow not conceeding as many ridiculous headers.

You've got the controller the correct way up, right?

Jokes aside though, I reckon out and out determination can go a long way in the early days. Just try to get a couple of strikers that you really believe can score a few goals and fight for your life in midfield / defense and if absolutely all else fails... just go 5-2-2-1 although this tactic doesn't work as well in fifa 14 as it did last year !
