Sub £150 4.7 - 5.0" Android phone ?

I'm massively tempted by the Moto G, but at 4.5" I really wanted something a little bigger. Does something exist at that price and size ? I can't find anything so far, it may have to be the slightly smaller Moto G.

Well everyone is raving about the Motorola G, you can pick it up for £89.99 with a voucher code AFAIK

I might just pick it up and mod it as a fixed sat nav in the car

... checking it does have gps

It is out of stock at lots of places (including Tesco direct). Huge demand for it.

The Moto G pretty much is the best at that price bracket, every other phone with that screen size is usually coupled with a low screen resolution and/or underpowered SoC.

Maybe a second hand S3? Although I'm not sure if that's within budget.

Screen resolution is overstated a bit I think. I'm also seriously tempted by the Noka 625 Windows phone. Same price point, 4G and 4.7".

The 625 is a significant step down compared to the Moto G. Only consider it if your invested in WP8.

If your desperate for WP8 check out the Samsung ATIV S (GS3 running WP8) or Lumia 920, they usually hover around £180.

i picked up a moto g for £109 for my mum. Phones4u had loads in stock.

I'm not so sure - the Nokia is 4G (not that I think that will benefit me much if at all) and it has a camera that focuses fast and makes a better job in low light and dark conditions. I love Windows phone - it is what I have had the last 20 months - but I thought maybe buy Android now and I have one of each.... A Nokia phone is worth having for the Nokia drive satnav app if nothing else...

Thanks for the tip on the Samsung, I'll look at it.
