**TODAY ONLY! 23/12/2013** EVGA GeForce GTX 780Ti Superclock ACX 3GB & VTX3D Radeon R9 290 X-Edition

That's pretty impressive MOOG. I was expecting it to be a good bit more than that. For games id be running pretty mild oc's as wf cards in sli tend to get pretty hot as ive found. Besides my current one isn't a great clocker anyway.

I don't have the 780's anymore. I'm using a single 7950 at the moment. :) Awaiting the after market cooled 290's.. :)

I'm sure you'll have more than psu power setter as long as you don't go extreme on the overclocks.

Well ive just completed ordering the VTX 290's for £600, £560 after ive sold the two copies of BF4. From looking around the web they do unlock so technically £560 for 2x290X's. Won't flash till i get a better psu thogh most likely.

Should've stuck with the MSIs and we could've been card buddies! :p

I'm sure I would've convinced you to try watercooling at some point. ;) BTW I know you, you won't be able to resist flashing them for longer than a week... :D

And epic deal OcUK lads, simply epic!

If there are any 290s left when I get home from work I'm going to get one.

If I place an order at 4:30 today whats the chances of getting it tomorrow?

Hehe well you're right. However my psu really is going to limit me so at the moment i will sit tight and enjoy stock 290 performance. How long i can keep that up remains to be seen. Insert your own joke here...

Nice purchase mate, enjoy. Your 7990 was a short lived experience.:D

Great price on the AMD's (I dont know about Nvidias)

I had a couple of 7950's in crossfire VTX and they were great cards never let me down. I see a lot of people say get Sapphire Asus Gigabyte etc, but I found the VTX's fine.

I also had 2 power color 5850's (sister company) and they were excellent too.

2 girls on the one board, if you know wat im saiyan? :p

Two in the pink, one in the stink. I call it the shocker.

I'd be very surprised if they unlock. I think a lot of the new stock will be using the laser cut 2020 GPU's. But great if they do, I was lucky that all 3 of my GPU's unlocked to 290x's.

Can you explain the voltage control situation to me? Are we able to increase or decrease voltage using afterburner or other tools?

Latest Afterburner beta is all that's needed (no BIOS flashing or anything unless you want a benching BIOS that gives better clocks at the cost of no 2D clocks). There's no memory voltage control though.

Ask me when you get them and I'll show you how. :)

I knew it Matt :D. That 7990 was always destined to be a short sweet stint followed by CF Big Boy later one.

Shame the new owner isn't a big boy too though...

:D

We will ship it. :)

But if the courier stops by the pub before delivering your parcel, not much we can do. ;)

Good to hear. I just asked ******** that but i think hes probably been asked it many times so i probably should have looked before asking. :p

Is it something about editing a config or a shortcut? Or has it been updated so that you can just enable voltage control and monitoring and away you go?

Yeah i know. :p

Don't get me wrong, loved the 7990 and really i had no legitimate reason to sell it other than i can make a profit over what i paid for it and get more performance from these new cards. I'll be able to try Tru Audio now as well so want to see if thats any good or if its just a waste of time.

If you noticed i stayed out of the vram thread since the last 'debate'. :p

Merry xmas. ;)

Ignore manufacturers warranty. Sale of goods act covers you up to 5 years with the retailer anyway.

I would save the £60. Actually I would wait for custom cards as they are too loud for me... :)

You have up to 6 years to make a claim, however you dont get 6 years of warranty, minimum is 2 years, otherwise what is deemed "reasonable" for the type of product, whjch is usually whatever the manufacturer rates them at

I think you should read the sale of goods act again. There is no minimum and the sale of goods act is not a warranty it is the law. Any Warranty implied is in addition to your standard rights which is covered by the sale of goods act.
