I've just been jumping straight into games of TDM & Domination on this and absolutely love it.
Have come straight from COD and not looked into anything though I have no idea how to rank up or unlock guns quickly, any tips?

Is it the actual control of them you are having problems with?
Theirs quite a few controller options, I think I have mine on legacy layout, then theirs the free play/ trailing area which is excellent to mess about freely with ALL the verticals to try them out.

Revives and medkits are good. A sure fire way to rank is to sit at a choke point on somewhere like op locker (tunnels into c) and drop support ammo or medkits.
if I spawn on friendly I always drop a med/ ammo kit instantly otherwise stick to playing objectives so attack/ defend the points on domination.
Be the squad leader designate points for attack/ defend with right bumper extra points if your squad neutralizes or captures it

I set all my mine to be like they were in BF3. Right trigger to throttle up, left to throttle down, LB to fire etc. I don't have inverted controls on either, so up is up and down is down. Only thing that annoys me right now is counter measure is down on the d-pad, a bit harder to hit while flying but getting used to it. Always hitting the mute button on my mic instead.
I'll try find the YouTube videos I watched to BF3 but I think they were all deleted, by a member called diegorod or something I think they were.
3/4 through campaign on PS4 and have been hit by the save game corruption I've heard so much about. I was only playing through to get the unlock for the sake of having them. Extremely frustrated and will not be trying again.

I feel the same, lost my campaign progress 3 times now, don't have the heart to try again. Did make me wonder how a game this broken managed to pass certification.
Thanks Martin, I'm actually still on BF3 as my copy of BF4 hasn't arrived yet, nearly didn't buy it as I thought beta was pants but have been told its awesome.
Cu3ed mentioned a trailing area, is this bf4 only i'm guessing? Don't remember seeing that in BF3
Yep, only in BF4, it lays out just about every single vehicle and puts up targets for you, fly about practising etc or try the tanks out or all the choppers/ boats etc to get used to them.
ta mate, sounds like exactly what I needed, gutted I won't have good old bf4 for xmas day! Is the china rising exp pack any good or just more of the same?
What platform will you be playing on shicky? Got a xbone and bf4 to open in the morning and been a long time since we hooked up.

How do u get into the China rising maps? When ever i go conquest i never get them come up. Is the only way to get into them through manual search lobby?
