Offered a job in Singapore, undecided what to do

Singapore is a cool (but expensive) place. Safe, clean, efficient, gorgeous weather, great food, and lovely people (and pretty girls ;)).

So yes. Go!

Offered a job on LinkedIn? Seems legit

Exactly why I said request a face-to-face.. But as a contractor I would imagine he knows the score.

If they are looking for some more exceptionally talented individuals let me know (email in sig).. Would love a gig in Singapore, my GF is there!

No wife/gf? If not go.
If you dont like it you can come back and, if you decide to say stay only a year that's a very good experience both from a life point of view and CV.

I've been to Asia many times. The rose tints have worn off completely and I would still jump at a chance to go out there to work. If it is a good opportunity I would do it. It doesn't need to be forever if you want to come back.

Do it mate, the stuff you have done already has been excellent work, I think having something like this will not only give you added working experience outside of this country but also some really good life experiences you can look back on in years to come and think yeah I did that.

I will kindly look after the lotus for you ;)

Do it, Singapore is lovely. Great base for seeing more of the region as well. With regards to making friends there are a lot of expats there, I am sure you will get on fine.
