I've really struggled to get my Serie-A team working well this year but i can't put my finger on why. When i saw the stats on futhead before the game came out I thought it would be one of the strongest leagues but it seems like something aint right :/ I'm getting closer though I think finally!

The biggest problem they seem to have is at CAM, i expected tevez to be a good cam but he seems just crap for me there, mainly because of his lack of height. Fortunately, i've recently discovered that Vučinić is amazing as CAM for some odd reason

He just always seems so involved with everything.

Well that's because he's a very good player tbh, he can play well with nearly anyone even slow strikers. Like I said I mentioned him because he seems the only one who consistently reviews multiple players week in week out.

Yea thats the problem..he's a reviewer...the whole purpose of watching videos is to get an idea of how good a player is..and its not much use if he can use anyone and if he feels like basically everyone is amazing.

He was absolutely raving about sif ronaldo last year and oh my god was that card crap :eek:

..... the normal card was twice as good......infact the normal card was better than TOTY ronaldo last year.

His reviews are insanely misleading.

Don't be silly, Ronaldo's TOTY card was unbelievable.

His reviews aren't misleading unless you're crap at the game.

Each to their own I guess, it's obvious you need to try players out for yourself to get a feel for them but if you want to watch a quick 5 minute video on an IF's strong points then that's where I go.

Did you have the normal Ronaldo card and the TOTY Ronaldo card last year btw? I don't mean what you saw on youtube but actually try both? I just find it staggering that you'd say what you just did if you actually had both, thats all

The normal Ronaldo card was miiiiiiiles better/more agile/blatently faster. Of course the TOTY had a better shot but the likelyhood of getting that shot off was far less likely imo. Infact, that SIF Ronaldo felt like 75 pace or less tbh.

So many IF's last year felt like 50 agility compared to their normal cards but Itani raved about all of them!

50 agility rofl, every TOTY/TOTS player I tried felt considerably quicker than their normal card. As usual though people have this theory that EA purposefully break cards for some reason. The only card that I found a bit weird was TOTS Reus, his MOTM card shooting was better.

I came up against TOTY Ronaldo many a time and he was insanely OP, and rightly so considering his price, stupidly quick on the ball and could score from nearly anywhere in the half.

The two people I know who had him said he was the best card in the game by a mile.

But honestly I didn't think he was better with the ball and I was absolutely convinced he was slower than the normal card. However, I am absolutely in no doubt that for me, the SIF Ronaldo was just horribly slow. It was the informs that I meant with the agility thing btw, rather than TOTY's. The only TOTY's that i thought were just ridiculous though were the CB's like Mangala and Boateng :/

Well i finally made it to div7, took it to the final game for the points as well. still struggling with some of these aggressive players who can just take the ball from your feet while they are standing behind you but im getting on slowly.

Of course you're not the only one I've seen either say IF/TOTY/S cards were poor. Over on the fut forum you'd see multiple threads about it and mixed opinions.

I think it's just you expect miracles from an IF / TOTS and you do stuff you wouldn't normally try. I did that a bit in 13 but in 14 I just play normally, IF or not and I've noticed some of the in forms actually feeling better. Benzema was a good one but I decided overall that he wasn't 300k better than his NIF so I sold him.

SIF Ronaldo & SIF MEssi last year were not good, definately not improvements ingame at all, infact SIF Messi was diabolical, and SIF Ronaldo did feel slower & more clunky, never used his TOTY or TOTS though.

Game was annoyingly frustrating today. Players seem slow, touchs were diabolical and nothing seemed to go right. Played about 6 games and only won 2, losing the others to constant lob ball spammers.

Bought Alaba but i really couldnt use him, my bundesliga team seem really disjointed and Alaba plays more like a LW than LB

My god back in Div 3, 1 point away staying up in Div 2 this time, the time before i was 1 point away from Div 1. Hopefully i enjoy it more because Div 2 is so bad.

As great as Crespo and Kluivert are, I'll probably offload one or both soon, might try an Ibra/Crespo pairing, but will have to think up something that should work, shame his passing is so awful or he would be great as a CAM in 433(4)!

Also got EA DC'ed at 2-1 up in Tourney final

After winning 4-1 I sent a message saying "Ul mate" as the guy was playing fair and not being a douche. He replied it was not unlucky and I was bound to win when all I did was mash buttons and tramp :rolleyes:

Claimed playing with assists meant I was unskilled and he would lose than play like a drone.

Did not realise there were assists on by default. So much pent up rage inside him I wish would have watched all 3 replays on each goal.

I wouldn't worry about assists, I bet he was using them too! And I think most here leave the default settings on, I use semi assisted crossing rest on the default settings, tried manual shooting once, you could feel the amount of control you would have over a shot, but, my god it was difficult!!
