Pulled the following in my 100K last night:

Neuer
Eto
IF Thiego Neves
IF Figeruoa

Think i ended up making a small profit.

The game was rather stupid last night, couldnt seem to get a win anywhere. Would constantly dominate games and would lose on penalties with my opponent having 2 shots and 1 on target (Hernandez weak foot) scoring. Game can be stupidly fustrating not to mention that i dont think acceleration exists at all in this game now :(
 
Last night was pretty appalling, i would consistently dominate matches only for opponent to have one shot and score. First touch and acceleration doesn't seem to play much in Fifa 14. Ive seen a 91 pace player fail to chase a 81 paced player. Not to mention when i tackle for the ball and get sent off for it yet my opponent takes me out o1 on 1 and no red card or even a booking :(

Yea completely sucked for me no one made an effort, sometimes I don't take WR into consideration but my god I think that's what killed this team for me.

Tbh it was probably the formation I was playing, I still have him in my trade pile so going to build another team and give him one more shot.

Bloody put a BIN of 133k for Joe Hart and he went straight away, I only bought him for 100k. But now he seems to be going for 140k+

I'm thinking of getting Nasri for Carzola just for the work rate reason but I haven't had a reason to change it yet :)

Left Rooney at CF position as then I can use him at CAM or ST and get max chemistry still. Plus it gives me a warm fuzzy feeling of the 4231 in FIFA 13 :D.

I can't find a solid formation but 442 and 41212 seem to be solid. Will try Rameries as a CAM. IF Melo is so well balanced all but a few stats are 80+

Tried any of the 433 formations? Willian and Hulk are a lot better at LW and RW respectively.

433(4) might be good formation to try.

Back four as it is then:

Gustavo IF Melo (CM)
Neymar (CAM)
Willian D Costa Hulk (LW / ST / RW)
 
To any of you who've used the legends do they seem stronger than usual? I've seen a few streamers and youtubers say most of them feel really strong in game even if they don't have high strength.

I'll probably be picking up an XB1 next month and I'll be wanting to try some leg ends.
 
Hi guys, new to Fifa 14 and want to get into UT, are there any reliable guides out there that covers UT (especially trading, which looks like it can be quite fun). With UT, is it worth playing games and getting coins to start trading on players, or shall I dump £12 on 1500 Fifa points and start on 10 packs?

Trading is easier when you have a lot of coins, it will be extremely tedious at the moment considering prices will be falling till TOTY is over with.

The best time to buy players is the late early hours of the morning, 4-6 AM, most of Europe is asleep and most of the yanks will be going to sleep around then as well.

I usually use the app on my phone if I wake up early enough.
 
I get up every day at 5:30 to get ready for work, so a quick blast of the web app at 6 was what I was planning on! Is it worth paying for a few packs in the hope of a TOTY player, or are drops really that bad?
 
I pulled a TOTY and TOTS player last year and didn't even open that many packs but their card weight is extremely low, they release them in stages as well, I think it's the goalkeeper and defenders for 2 days then midfielders, then attackers then I think they do a day with them all in packs when the market basically folds in on itself lol.

Just play games. You can build perfectly good teams with the coins you will get from that.

I'm playing with this lot at the moment. The only relatively expensive players were the front line - I started with Vela, Griezmann, and Gameiro, and they were perfectly satisfactory.

It won't hurt to drop £12 into it obviously, but building a solid team without spending money simply needs a little bit of time spent.

Got 230k do I buy IF Hart, or IF Soldado or IF Wallcot or buy a Serie A team. Got a Bundesliga and Prem at the moment but prefer the Prem team.
