Hi Guys,

I'm looking for a new SLI bridge, sadly I broke mine yesterday and my system is out of use now until I get another.

I'm looking for a decent flexible ribbon cable one to allow moving things around if I need to, but I just can't seem to find one anywhere (well other than dodgy knock offs from the far east on ebay, or fixed ones the wrong length).

Any help appreciated as I am a bit stuck at the moment.

Cheers!

I wouldn't say your system is 'out of use', the top card should still work fine :p :p

As to where to get one, I have no idea sorry. It would seem OCUK only sell the eVGA ones that aren't flexible.

:) lol that is true, I've lost surround though :( and it's either disturb one card and remove it so it doesn't keep giving me the SLI error message, and fit all screens to one card, or run it with two cards and just three separate desktops.

I don't really want to launch any of the games it took me a while configuring surround for or tweaking to work in case it messes up the configs by detecting the res changing.

Starcraft II is about all I can play at the mo I guess as that won't run in three screens, although, I am in bed with man flu at the mo on the laptop so it happened at an ok-ish time lol.

Well known auction site. Plenty available cheap. Which will be fine and do the job.

Thanks, do you think they are ok then? I just saw the nasty looking unbranded orange chinese knock offs on there.

I'm surprised more places don't sell them, never knew they were so hard to come by in stores online over here.

I've bought them off there a few times and had no problems. A lot sell the original one's which would have been bundled with a motherboard or Gpu if you're buying from a private seller. Either way you should be fine.

I probably have one in my crosshair V formula box, not too sure on length though.

Thanks guys, will take a looksie on that site again and see what the best one looks like.

Nkata, if you have one you are sure you don't need let me know, could maybe sort something out :)

I was looking for a 120mm flexible, as if I decide to change cases with my GPU cooling woes I might bump it down to the next slot without having to go through the hassle of getting another one yet again.

Cheers!

I will try to remember when I get home tonight (first day back at work today since 20th Dec).

Ouch, yes that hurts!

Cheers, I just ordered up a cheap ASUS (whether it is real or a clone one I don't know) from that auction site for £3.00, god knows when it will arrive though - it is supposed to be in the UK but can't imagine they will rush out to post it for that price. Wouldn't hurt to get another one as a spare or possibly before that one :)

If you find it and are sure you don't want it fire me a PM letting me know what you were thinking :)

Cheers!

ASUS p/n 14G030046610 120mm SLI Bridge

If you want it click on the 'Mail me' link below my sig. I will not use it as I have an AMD card with no intention of upgrading.

Big thanks to NKata for sorting me out, his bridge turned up quicker than the other one I bought and got me SLI'd again over the weekend - respect :)

OCUK, might be worth stocking a few flexible bridges for people who need them in an emergency.
