Hi

i have a AEG l75480wd washer dryer that has started displaying an e20 error code and beeping twice.

From googling i think that its a drainage problem. there is nothing specific on my model of machine but others points towards drainage blockage.

Ive had the back off and can see clearly there is nothing blocking any piping to the drain and ive checked all my sink piping.

The only place left is the drainage pump which i haven't checked yet, or know how to get too (possibly the bottom of the machine).

Can anyone offer any help on this problem? maybe someone has the same brand and similar problem?

Thanks

i get the message at the end of the wash cycle when it tries to drain.

im not sure where the filter is but ive checked all the drainage piping in the back of the machine to the out flow and the piping under my sink.

i also drained the machine from the front fine.

i cant seem to find the manual either :/

If you drained it from the front that is the filter you removed, you should be able to se the impeller on the pump of you peer in.

when i drain from the front it is just a small nozzle that flicks down.

from what ive read, and if it is similar design to others by AEG i should be able to remove the pump from the bottom by just a flicking a couple of clips.

There is a flap at the front, with a part that will unscrew?

Make sure you turn it off if you do. :D

i managed to unscrew the drain at the front and could indeed see the propeller, but it all looked fine.

ive just unplugged it to leave it with power off over night, im told 2 hours resets it, there is a possibility it cant find the right programs to do. it only does a wash, nothing else starts.

if it doesnt fix it its under warranty still so hopefully we should get it fixed for free.

I had the same problem a few months ago on our AEG washer/dryer. I ended up calling somebody out and it ended up being a simple piece of cotton lodged far into the front filter, even though I thought I had checked it many times.

From what I remember, if it doesn't end up being something lodged into the pump/filter somewhere, it will more than likely be a faulty pump.

had it turned off at the wall over night in hope it might reset it but it is still the same so an engineer is coming out thursday.

2 year warranty from AEG woo!
