Oh and in regards to Mantle, I am sure it'll be great for FPS, but it won't hide a fundamentally broken game. While the game can be and is fun especially when played with friends, it is the worst BF game I have ever played.

edit...hang on first line of the video..."we were honored to have DICE help launch mantle with us in Q4" DUDE....DUUUUUDE you are from AMD and don't even know DICE delayed the patch to Q1 2014 AHAHAHAHAHAHA

WHEY, I can actually fly with a KB&M now!! Shift binded with Pitch up works a charm, need to work on my precision with heli's and basic manoeuvres with jets but I can fly!

Just need to sort out my bloody sensitivity now, currently:
Infantry, in game 3% and 400dpi
Helicopters, in game 40% and 800dpi
Jets is the same as heli's but need to work on it, might try it with 1100dpi
Tanks, in game 40% and 400dpi

Thanks god for having a mouse with dpi buttons on hot key.

Going to try and get sensitivity to where it was for infy which I think now was around 10-12% in game @ 400dpi.

Big thanks for Joe, Stoney and Nexus for telling me to ditch the flightstick, now I just need to get MM access and shift the bloody thing!
 
I'm bloody awesome in the heli on the test range, best pilot ever to me it would seem even though I know that's not the case...but put me in battle and I **** my pants making all kinds of dumb accidental key presses lol. I brain fart going after anything that's a moving living target hehe.

I'm getting the hacusations thrown at me left right and centre now, I need to figure a way of not biting in the chat window lol. Maybe just killing the person that threw out the hackusation is the best way lol

Yeah I am going to start turning chat off in game, I bite way to easy and then spend most of the game destroying them in chat and in game! Let my bullets do the talking.

Yeah test range is too easy, nobody shoots back. But I have a vast improvement over what I was doing which was crashing the second I tried to turn of corner in the heli/jet.

Just do a Nexus and me -

uCAV bro? Yes very, just wasted £50 on a flightstick, which currently is used as my headset stand - rather an expensive headset stand!

Stalker confession, but I was spectating you the other night and you were sniping guys IN THE WATER from the top of the tower on the Siege of Shanghai map. It's no wonder people are accusing you.

Quite looking forward to trying the Mantle side of things.

If they are bragging a 40-45% increase, then I assume I might realistically see 20%, which would make all the difference.

I'm running 1080p on an HD 7950 and it's lovely and smooth, but not super-mega-butter smooth. Might have to try turning down some settings, but it just feels wrong to do so, so maybe Mantle will make the difference.

oh yea I've unlocked the sUAV and the mCAV. both are quite fun, the mUAC has the worst battery life in the world though!!! did they scrimp on a power source and rely on a single tesco value AAA battery or something? I swear you launch the thing and by the time you've got it looking towards the ground for targets again half of its power has gone xD

the suav is fun to pootle about in though :D already had a road kill or two with it :D best was on the like havanna resort or what ever...was by the shore at A, launched my suav....flew up towards C and there were lots of snipers on the roof.... was a perfect line up to take the guys head off over the wall he was peering over xD mwah ha ha haaa!!!!!


oh yea did you see my frustration in chat last night Nexus? :p I joined on you on zavod 311, was on the wrong team so just jumped in a little bird....flew from the deployment to the first flag and i got killed by the game to team balance.... ok.... so then I was on your team.... tried the same again... but it kept killing me after being alive for about 10-15 seconds to team balance but because it was also auto balancing me to be on your team I died about 5 times in a row just to be switched back and forth! ever so slightly annoying xD

yay I have a fan club lol...yeah but how many of them shots hit lmao, not many from up there. But yeah, got ****ed off that night, wanted to kill someone in particular real bad that was ****ing me off kept on sniping me then swimming across the water to cap C after I had done the same. It's very rare I go sniper, but there are just times when needs must lol. And of course was to stop the other team from getting up there and also trying to unlock some distance marksman medals. It's quite a good shot from up there, bullet drop isnt as much obviously shooting from above and the targets seem bigger in the water and slower moving than running infantry.

Has anyone tried using a Nexus 7 for BF4 app as a battlescreen? I find its really laggy as compared to the iPad Air, surely the hardware in the Nexus 7 should be able to cope with this?
 
Dammit, need to buy 8.1 full release but can't afford it to play ESL cup as wire doesn't work with the preview, do we have any MSDN developers here that could help with that wink wink, would love you forever x x x
