I was just reading the article on Pistonheads. I like the way the fan controls are on the actual vents too.
As for the digital dash, being a bit nerdy, I always like these, especially if they can be customised to a degree. Although means you can't easily leave your passenger in charge of entertainment...
Higher piece cost on the entry level though if you fit to all....
Looks good res, too fussy but I guess thats just one mode. The current XJ has this and its great how things drop in and out, ie radio stations and sat nav directions. Range Rover aswell pushed the dials further apart when you go into vehicle modes and settings for air and 4x4.
Neat OLED screens on those centre vent faces, although need to ensure the screen is happy with the range of temperatures it will see!
Oh I see what you mean now. Yeah could take some complexity out although the screens in cars are appearing regardless of sat nav and I'd expect the TT to be decently spec'd at entry.
Shame no picture of the actual interior in the OP as the Autocar story has one and it does look smart.
from the source the wide shot of the interior looks stunning!!! om nom nom nom!!!! also the dash looks better in that shot. not too sure about the close up shot, as said the screen with everything there looks a bit ..... busy :\ something just doesn't sit quite right, maybe the dials to be slightly bigger and more of a boarder to them?
I think its awesome. It has hints of super car about it. The only odd thing is the independent controls on each vent, not yet sure if this is genius or a pain in the ass.
