Telling child to give Granny a kiss on the cheek tantamount to child sex abuse

Any time an expert posts a thesis like this, they should remove their professional status.

Absolute hogwash.

So a kiss on the cheek or a hug from friends/family is now an act that may not:

... help them avoid 'future sexual exploitation', expert says

Experts, bloody experts!

It doesn't say that making a child kiss granny is sexual abuse, it said that by blurring the lines regarding consent for physical contact it may open up a child to future abuse due to being used to being told how to physically interact with adults & giving into pressure.

Glad somebody else got the actual jist of it.

"Okay, Timmy, now give Grandma a nice kiss on the cheek, there's a good boy. Night night, Grandma! Now, give Uncle Richard a kiss... <flames erupt from the ground and walls> ... down there!"

I never understand why people make threads linking Daily Heap of S*** and then proceed to say; 'I know it's the Daily Mail but ... '.

So you know that the news source you read is laughable at best and even apologise for it (so to speak), yet you read it. Why?

I always gave both grandma and grandad a kiss on the cheek and I still do now in my 30's.

Can confirm, am now a sinister predatory pervert.

My gf used to hate her stepdad's mum as a child because she used to hug and hold her hand all the time. She's over it now but maybe these experts have a point?

To be fair she hugged me when I first met her.
