Alien: Isolation Trailer

Indeed.

in one video they say that 3TB of schematic data was acquired from the original film archives and they've used the sounds and set pieces from the film to make it as authentic as possible. none of the tech in the game will be new so if it can't be found in the film's World then it can't be found in the game either.

I'm actually excited about this game, definitely top spot for 2014 for me.

Just hoping that a GTX780 is enough to play it as intended!

They're talking about trying to get it working on Oculus Rift... now there will be a horror game! I can't think of enough words to express how awesome that could be.

man finally.

Think this is what fans of the franchise have been waiting for. A survival horror game.

By some of the reviews of the demo they have might have made this one a touch to scary lol.

Hopefully this can lead onto a proper Aliens game. Like deadspace

Let's get this straight, I'd like nothing more than a decent Alien game. I was a massive fan of the original AvP games, got way too excited about AvP 2010 and it turned out garbage.

Colonial Marines rolls around, looks great... Disappears for a while then resurfaces with a suspicious release date and lack of reviews. I held off buying and was seemingly rewarded by not having to play one of the worst games of 2013.

You'll excuse me if I'm more than a little sceptical about this game. The concept looks good but will the Dev team be provided with the resources and time required to do it justice?

I'll leave it at that, you get your preorder in Robert, I certainly won't be.

To be fair people generally learn from their mistakes rather than repeat them, especially considering the critisism the last release has recieved. Do you really think they'd risk putting out another bad game? It'd essentially be like throwing dev money down the toilet...twice.

I reckon this game will be an attempt to save face, and from looking at it I'd say its on target. I know we saw a pre release teaser last time and it looked amazing, and the game at release fell terribly short. But after getting such harsh backlashings about it. I'd say this game will get a lot more focus from the devs. Because if they make 2 flops, they may aswell pack up shop.

I am really looking forward to this. It's a great premise but... I can't see a game, as scary and as atmospheric as it seems, would work in this level. It looks like they have put a lot of work into the aliens ai but without the variation of different enemies or scenarios it seems a bit limited.

SEGA has been the publisher for the past two awful Alien games. AvP 2010 & Colonial Marines, both of which looked 'amazing' pre release & sent fans in to frenzy as we all clamoured for an awesome Alien game...

Despite AvP 2010 & Colonial Marines being universally regarded as pants they both sold very well, see here & here.

They've already backed two horrid games, why would the third be any different? We keep buying these **** poor games and they'll keep churning 'em out!

I just wouldn't get so excited before any reviews hit.

I agree we all know the awesome Aliens game we want but we will get some more tired old Sega drivel. Do Sega actually publish anything good anymore?

I hope this one is actually good but I will wait on reviews.

The problem in the Alien universe is variety of Aliens. It was ok on the Saturn we could put up with it but lack of ambition or variety won't be anymore. I think that's why they lobbed Aliens and Predator together.

Please don't suck :(

Let's hope a decent publisher picks up the rights for the Alien franchise after this game is out the doors...

This is the last game SEGA will have the rights for! :D
