Can we buy them yet? noticed some retailers are selling asus monitors modified with g-sync. Seems to be high mark up over the bog standard monitor as well.
I do fully expect to see the module for sale as a standalone product but I guess limited supply at present is the reason we are not seeing it and going by the amount of monitor manufacturers who have jumped on this, I wouldn't be unsurprised to not see it for a while.
But it may still work...The module for DIY has been dropped.
Already checked this out and it was mentioned on another gsync post. The module for DIY has been dropped.
Would be nice to have a full list of supported monitors so we know when/if to sell in anticipation or wait for the module. Anyone seen a list? I have a PB278Q and would love to fit this to it.
At the moment only the vg248qe & pg278q are confirmed gsync monitors, though with asus, acer, aoc, benq, Phillips, viewsonic and probably more under their wing I'd expect other monitors with capable interfaces to become gsync ready.
I think over time the modules will become available, production will be tight atm especially with the given amount of 1440 120hz monitors asus are about to sell.
The new 2560 x 1440 120hz Asus monitors (fitted with gsync) introduced at CES look very nice. Question is, is gsync really worth it for 120hz gamers??
Yes there is something a bit off about paying that much for a TN but it does look like an awesome screen![]()
Its Nvidia....
.... but really its new tech and the usual premium will be added.

I'm still confused about the tech. as anyone who can afford these monitors will likely have a system that's capable of running 100+ fps and I don't see where 'gsync' would be beneficial? (I may be missing the point - its been known to happen)
