So I've exhausted all options on this and I need some expert help.

A few months ago I bought a load of new stuff from here to upgrade a family member from his old dual core S939 setup. The spec is below:

CPU- AMD A8-5600K FM2 3.6ghz
Mobo- ASRock FM2A75 Pro-4
HDD- Sandisk Pulse 128gb SSD
RAM- 8gb Crucial Ballistix Sport 1600mhz
PSU- Corsair 430w Modular
Case- Bitfenix Merc Alpha

Now initially I received a DOA mobo which OcUK swapped out for me with no issue, however I the one I received back also failed to display so I raised another RMA but the technicians got this to post fine and sent me the board back.

Work has been in the way over the last few weeks so I finally got around to trying it over the weekend and again I get no display. The fans spin up when the machine is turned on but there are no beeps errors and no LED's on the mobo are lit up.

I've tried just about everything I can from resetting the CMOS, trying different RAM and installing my old HD4670 instead of using the onboard but still nothing gets me a display.

Now given that the OcUK techies got this board to post fine, any advice on where I should be looking next?

Have you tried another monitor/TV?

Yes unfortunately, I've tried my Dell 24" and my 50" plasma on the same HDMI port as my HTPC and with the same cable.

I've also tried VGA and DVI connections on them both as well with no luck.

I'd get back in touch with OcUK and just clarify what hardware they used when they tested the board. Explain that you're still struggling to get output from the board and see what they say.

Have you tried a different PSU? You never know.

No I haven't mainly because I dont have a spare one. I have one in my gaming PC and one in my HTPC which are both cabled managed (tie wraps etc) within their cases.. Taking them out would be a nightmare!

Could you try using a GPU in it just to get it working and flash the bios and see how that goes?

I hear you!

However, they can be re-done. And it would rule the PSU out one way or the other.

As mushtafa said too, check for shorts against the board. Completely strip the machine down and connect it together outside of the case.

If you can untie the 24 pin & 8 pin from another machine and try connect it next to the PC (Will save you stripping it all out) as it could possibly be the PSU.
