I'm the same, don't go around kissing people on the lips.

Very rarely even hug my dad, not sure how he'd react if I kissed him on the lips :eek:

Yup, for a culture that's extremely homophobic, it's also one of the most bent. Not surprising when you think about it. If you separate men from women for most peoples lives then quite a few are going to turn

It's not that cut and dried.

A quick peck on the lips isn't sexual. A lingering one for two or three seconds can definitely be.

Whether a kiss on the lips is sexual or not is a very grey area. It's all about how it's done.

Nevertheless, a peck on the lips is not necessarily an appropriate form of greeting, especially when you consider how many other ways you can do it.

A Kuwaiti fellow I used to work with told me that all Iranians **** boys, and then an Iranian told me the same thing about Iraqis. Probably just Middle Eastern rivalry, but you never know.

I think because they don't see much female action they just see to each other.
 
Firm handshake and a look in the eye... Anything else is a bit over the top.

Might be an age thing though, Some younger lads are getting way too effeminate lately, if kissing your best male mate is the evolution to that then it's gone way too far.. :(

Spent some time in Algeria, Tunisia and Saudi Arabia when I was between eleven and fourteen. Had regular approaches from blokes wanting a bit of nubile man candy. Curly blonde hair seemed to be what did it for them.
 
LOL if any of my mates tried to kiss me on the lips, they would get a fist for their troubles...pretty much the same if i was to try to kiss them on the lips too.

But ive seen other guys do it so no i dont think its gay or anything but pretty weird if you ask me.

Freud was a nut job with serious issues. Just because kissing to you is sexual, doesn't mean it is for everyone.

It's a part of some cultures, and not of others.
