I purchased something from Ebay which was not as described so returned it by recorded delivery (item was about £45)
It did not arrive, there is no tracking info and the seller says it did not arrive
I filed a lost item report and finally after over 2 months I get a letter
"we wrote to Mrs xxxxx requesting confirmation of whether or not the item arrived but have not had a reply, I am therefor ASSUMING that we have delivered the item"
So on no evidence whatsoever they ASSUME it was delivered, clowns
They have included a pack of 6 stamps a reimbursement
stamps and snotty letter on their way back to them

Is it? In that case, does anyone know if Paypal cover for goods that are lost in the post? I am missing 3 parcels from 3 different sellers, so I am pretty confident its not the sellers but lost by Royal Mail.Another ebay thread
I had to post something recorded delivery earlier in the week only to find that they apparently no longer do recorded delivery and only do the more expensive special delivery. I can only see profit being the reason behind that.

EDIT: Haha I just tried a quote on parcel2go for a package the same size and weight as a standard envelope and its cheaper to use a courier than to use royal mail for a letter. That is absolutely nuts. Someone will come to my house and collect it cheaper than me going out of my way to get to a post office.
My wife purchased a plate from eBay. It turned up yesterday, a well packaged box wrapped in plastic filled with bubble wrap. The plate however is completely broken in half.
Royal Mail have magic powers that break items inside "well packaged" boxes![]()
