New components no post

Just assembled my new components and yet again no post :/ GPU is running really loud. Could be the PSU is faulty? Every fans are running fine and the PSU fan is also running.

My components are new Mobo, Ram and CPU.

Have you re-installed windows? When I changed my mobo and CPU I had to resintall windows because all the drivers were for the wrong chipset/socket.

I haven't connected any HDD yet just trying to get something on the screen (bios screen).

The GPU fan is like running at full speed which never happened before.

I'm guessing the GPU is running at full speed because the BIOS controller hasn't kicked in yet.

Does your PC beep when you turn it on?

Have you plugged the additional 4/8pin ATX in near the CPU socket?

Take the GPU out and try the onboard solution?

I have plugged it and yes just tried that now and still no post. :confused:

Try one RAM stick at a time in different slots.

Turn the power off and pull the battery out, go make some tea, refit and try again.

No bent pins, ahh no beep at all when I didn't put a any RAM the speaker thingy is connected.

You need at least a single RAM, board, CPU+cooler to get to POST.

Ah no, i only have my old pc but i don't think its a good idea to use it as its not branded :/

Cant be in a worse position than you in now.

Just use it enough to see if you get a POST screen.

God it post now I need a new power supply -.-, I wonder if it will be the same problem with my last mobo.
