I prefer the official wireless charger to the round one people are buying.

Feels so nice to pop the phone down on those magnets... Smooth. Also it looks so sleek and doesn't have a low quality beep.

Will post about my spigen ultra asap tomorrow :)

doesn't it cost like x4 the price of those Chinese chargers?
 
I bought the official charger for home - looks nice on the desk etc. and then one of the cheaper ones for work.
Both do the same job, official one 2x as much - but it really does look nice :)
 
I can't see this posted here maybe I'm blind but Google have a sale on accessories including the bumper and the LG flip case for the nexus 5. 25% off!
 
Tempted to get a official bumper case with the 25% off. Any experiences with it?
I also like the Spiegen Ultra Fit but the buttons look like they could be hard to press?

I have the official bumper case and paid full price for it but two weeks ago :)
As you'd expect it is a perfect fit. Does add bulk to the phone, but any case will.
Love the way the case sits almost flush with the back, so the camera lens "bump" no longer sticks out.
Personally I loved it from the moment I first saw the Google video of it.
 
I've seen two reviews mention the buttons are now much harder to press. Is this true?
What colour did you go for? I like the yellow.
Does it feel the same as the back of a black nexus 5?
 
Got the Spigen Ultra Hybrid:















Feels nice and in my opinion looks pretty nice too, obviously it adds some thickness, but it does fee like it would protect the phone quite well if dropped, now I just need to put a screen protector on correctly.

No, my new one no longer has the rattle, and they were harder to press the first 3 ish times I used them but they loosened up quickly.

It should only do this if you have a case hindering the charge.

Firstly, I have not seen the charger mentioned in this thread for £8. Most people seem to be paying £15 - £17, if you could link up where you can get them for £8 I'm sure everyone would appreciate it.

Also you quoted the whole of my post so I assume you read it, the charger looks nicer, it goes very well with my glass topped side table. The magnets also give a nice feel compared to the other charger, it's hard to explain how it feels better for the magnets to grip the phone off you.

I'm sure there are plenty of things Mr Kree spends on which I find ludicrous :p
 
I just ordered one of the round ones. Thinking I might cancel now though as the beep when seating might get annoying. Also I want to charge my Nexus 7 2013 so getting the offical one might be better. Just pricey.
 
I don't like the idea of flip cases really, it's another level of faff.

In particular the case you linked doesn't actually seem to give a high level of protection especially for the price.

If you like the idea of the flip cover I would probably go for the LG one, bit nicer looking and doesnt have "for nexus 5" on it.

have it and hate it.. buttons are way to easy to press and any slight touch to the button and off my screen goes..
