Wasn't sure where to ask this, tried the pc gaming section and the monitors but got no replies so hopefully I'll get more joy here

I thought I'd struck gold with this as a fix for the SP FOV in BF4 but I can't seem to get it to work. I'm probably missing something really obvious but all i get in the status window is 'searching for Battlefield 4 process':

I've added the origin and origin game paths and run it as admin. Any ideas?

I believe it was created to help with multi monitor set ups but, when working, allows you to change the fov in bf4 campaign.

When I was running triple monitors, I swore by this program for games that didn't have a proper triple screen resolution but never had any issues. set and forget but just need to point it to where your BF4.exe is iirc.

Edit:

Just loaded it up as a refresh and all you need to do is run it in 64 bit mode (I assume you have) and then start the game. Make sure the tab is running first (like your screenie shows).

When you say run it in 64 bit mode, I downloaded the 64 bit installer and run FW as administrator. Do I need to point it to the bf4 folder rather than just the origin folder?

No I don't think so, I think you would just double click the BF4 in the left pane and then just run the game.

Yeah, that's what I've been trying. No joy. Even if I change the slider in FW in game (windows key to desktop) it has no effect. Still get the 'searching for bf4 process' in the status box.

The on this program make sure you select the 64bit bf4.Exe

Defo running BF4 in x64. Ah well, thought it was too good to just work flawlessly

I'll just have to wait for DICE to sort out the fov themselves.

Sorry I couldn't help more but it was a program that I loved. I remember firing up Black Ops for the first time at 5760x1080 and thinking OMG, what have I just brought (meaning the 2 extra monitors) and wanted to send them back Found widescreen fixer and problem solved.

I did do some searching and seems the recent fix for BF4 has made this stop working, so just need some patience and by all accounts, this only affects the SP mode, as the MP mode is good?

Mate, don't worry your help has been appreciated. That you've managed to find that the latest bf4 'fix' has stopped it working is more than I've been able to.find out. I thought I was just messing it up!

It's only the sp it affects. The fov is adjustable in mp, dice just chose to force a low fov on the sp which I find unplayable.
