Looking for R9 with Hynix memory

Hi all,

As per title, I am looking for an R9 gpu which has Hynix memory - for mining.

Are these out yet? I have looked on the market but no one mentions it - is it luck of the draw or aren't they out yet? I have heard it overclocks a lot better for mining.

Many thanks

As above, Sapphire Tri X 290 or MSI Gaming Edition 290 are Hynix. Not sure about other AIB 290 cards.

As i'm building a case build aftermarket coolers are not an option I need the hot air blowing out the back of the case - do any reference cooler models have hynix?

have been for the past 2 hours, VERY difficult to find somewhere with specific model information hence why i'm posting in here to see what you guys say :)

Get the sapphire, if for some reason it comes with non Hynix memory, you've got 14 days to send it back anyway.

Its hit and miss with the reference cards i think. Might be worth asking in customer services forum section or asking Gibbo. Maybe Asus reference? Can't promise it though.

It's a consumer protection regulation, basically allows you a window to return items regardless if they're broken, etc etc.

In reality though, it's there to protect you against companies that don't offer a good service in the first place, OcUK are pretty great regardless of the situation, regulation or not.
