Im definetly not, Sony and MS dont really care, but I want the both of them to be at each other to out do each other, the way a lot on this forum and many others seem to get on that we should ONLY have Sony winning outright, as if that will allow Sony to "love the gamers" more.
That would be terrible. There needs to be competition, and neither Microsoft nor Nintendo are going anywhere. I'd hate to see what Sony would do if they had no competition...
Exactly...like it or not...own Sony or MS, you NEED someone pushing the other to do everything they can to make us want their product more.

cu3ed why are you just making stuff up? Nobody has made it sound like you don't have a choice and nobody has said they don't want any competition. It would take a massive ratio to put the other out of the console business, Nintendo are still hanging in and look at their sales compared to the other. Sony or MS will likely never end up in that state either.

You seem pretty miffed that MS would do such a thing, even though not a single person in the UK here could take them up on the offer even if they wanted to.

Few things you dont seem ot understand about this, thsi is for store credit.
Bring in a PS3....get $100 store credit....buy one of the Laptops in store...no XO sold.
Bring in an old 360....get $100 Store credit.....buy a Surface two.
Many and most are portraying it as.
Bring in a PS3...you can only use that $100 to go towards a XO.

Right now, neither console is a better console than the one it replaced.
Sony arnt exactly flush with cash right now, that and heavy lay offs been happening.
I agree, a lot of people lose sight of this and don't realise that if it was all one sided then it wouldn't actually be good news at all for gamers. It's getting hard to differentiate people like yourself who are evidently frustrated at the behaviour of a lot of people on this subject, and those who are flying the company flags. It can come across like everyone is taking one side or another but I think a lot is misconstrued.
What? Last year Revenue, operating income, net income, total assets and total equity were all up over the previous year.
Many many years before that they were in the red.
We arnt just talking Sony Devices, Sony Crops on the whole isnt dong great, and its Entertainment division has been tanking last I checked.

Last year's income was only positive because they sold off billions in assets. Not something they can do every year.
A good example of this is just to compare Sony and the PS3 pre-2009 ish and now, amazing change and turn around tbh.
Doesn't mean they aren't "flush with cash" as cu3ed is trying to make out. With the PS4 I can see them being even more succesful.

That was 2011 when the flooding hurt their earnings, you're really going to use that against them and try and make out they're struggling for cash
