Our exchange & local cab has just been enabled for FTTC in the last week.

Signed up with Plusnet and due to go live on 10th Feb with estimated speeds 64/20.

However I'll be moving in June as the missus and me are buying our first home (a new build).. The exchange is enabled, but the local cab is not with no plans currently.. Very annoying! :o

Exchange: Yes.

Cabinet: No. VDSLAM in place but not hooked up. Says March 2014 but that's likely just a holding date.

Bridgend

No, Glasgow Bell, seems the exchange is done but the cabinet is not? awaiting the scottish government to enable it now instead of BT. :(

No, fibre to the cabinet RFS date is 1st March but we have 24mbps DSL for about £3 a month from Sky:p I won't be moving to FTTC.

Chesterfield.

edit: CS on the openreach checker above.

What kind of fibre? I can get proper Tier 1 connectivity as well as the joke fibre product supplied by BT. On Virgin hybrid fibre-coaxial right now though.

Stratford.

No, TW3. The exchange is enabled, just not my cabinet. . I've been told by the enquiries email it's 'uneconomical'. The irony? The exchange is next door to my block of flats!
