Walkers Do Us a Flavour

Doesn't really matter which flavour wins...it never tastes like what it says. Anyone like to shed light on how prawn cocktail tastes like a prawn cocktail?

I entered slow roasted pork (yeah I know, probably 10,000 other people did too) and beef tsukune as my flavours. I was gonna suggest steak and cheese, but I saw somebody already had.

Steak and Pepperjack cheese....? Mmmm...

Henderson's Relish...that is all...and before anyone says it...its not just a knock of version of Worcershire sauce

I have both Henderson's relish and Worcestershire sauce in my cupboard. Wouldn't even consider them to be interchangeable and there are few things that I would say go with both. However, I've never tried mixing them.

How about Henderson's relish and Worcestershire sauce flavour?

The winning flavour in the 2008 one was Builders Breakfast, which frankly was god awful. It had a nasty eggy taste. It got pulled off the shelves after about a year. I still remember the lush fish and chips and onion bhaji flavours. Why one of them didn't win I'll never know.

The winner of that competion got £50,000 and 1% of all future sales of their flavour. This time its better since the winner just gets a one time payment of £1 mill. So even if Walkers makes the winning flavour taste nasty and it bombs, you still get the cash anyway.

I'm sure they have done this flavour thing more recently than 2008?
