Hi there again,

Looking for the best value £450 build. I'll need everything except for a monitor, mouse, keyboard and speakers. Budget can be expanded slightly if the improvements outweigh the extra financial cost.

Thanks for the replies. I've seen this message listed with Windows 8 builds sometimes

This system is preinstalled with Windows 7 Professional software and also comes with a license and media for Windows 8 Pro software

Do all versions of Windows 8 come with the ability to downgrade to Windows 7?

Windows 8.1 Pro includes downgrade rights to:
Windows 7 Professional
Windows Vista Business

Windows 7 Professional and Windows 7 Ultimate include downgrade rights to:
Windows Vista Business and Windows Vista Ultimate
Windows XP Professional, Windows XP Tablet PC Edition, or Windows XP x64 Edition

Note Other OEM Windows 7 versions (for example, Windows 7 Home Basic and Windows 7 Home Premium) do not include downgrade rights.

What graphics connectors does your monitor have? That's something to watch out for when choosing motherboard (if your build has no discrete GPU, and has integrated graphics instead).

I'm not sure what you mean. It's a old monitor that connects via VGA. The person doesn't want to upgrade their monitor either.

Its main use will be for general internet browsing and watching movies/TV shows. Light gaming use would also be a plus.
