Does anyone have a good recommendation for a good quality video player?

Running 8.1 and the Video app sucks as does Windows Media Player now, fancy something have good.

Need something that won't go out of sync every second like the above two.
 
Found one called DivX player which seems to be decent, failing that I do like the mpc-be interface.
 
I've recently discovered Plex

You install the media server on the PC with the actual media on it and tell it which folders to look in. Then you can either install the Plex theatre on the same PC and watch there, or alternatively install the theatre on another PC and watch there, or even go to a webpage on your idevice, android device and watch there. You can also access this same webpage from outside your home (if you set your ports and firewall up and have a good enough upload speed, mine is Virgin 3mbit and plays SD content over the internet to my works 4mbit connection with no issues at all). It also does music which also works over the internet, even via 3G.
 
I have been using splayer and its great. I like the way it finds and downloads subs and the interface is nice to.
