Might of been the six shot grenade launcher that you can pick up from the ground.

I really like it in domination. It's the perfect shot gun map!

I like it for Team Deathmatch but hate it for Conquest!

Actually I should have said it's horrible for Conquest. For TDM it's not that bad.

What's the quickest way to rank up? I've just come back to it after a bit of a break and noticed I'm only rank 34 after around 90 hours. That's mainly because I used to just sniper so spent a lot of time not really moving. I'm using all guns now to unlock more so getting into the action a bit more, what's the best game mode for xp?? I'm normally on conquest.

^TDM with an assault rifle. Or just jump in the passenger seat of an awesome helicopter pilot during conquest like I do that gets the ranks up. Oh and don't forget to activate your XP boosters in the pause menu.

Go on at the weekends during this month for Double XP and use any boosters you have to get more points, Be a Medic or support and give out ammo and health/revives, or go as Engi and repair vehicles.

Spot all the time for free points, if you're a squad leader, set orders for your squad to follow for more points, and follow comander orders again for points.

Last night with the double XP and a couple 200xp boosts i went from 78 to 85.

The magnum is awesome, it's not impossible it just takes skill.

I agree with insane regarding the P226 being the best pistol I might start using it again, the compact .45 is a bit of a let down. The mag size is listed as 15, you actually only get 11.

It deals awesome damage but it's not awesome.

I can get decent head shots on it when shooting at the unaware, but when you're toe to toe with somebody and they're jumping about weaving etc... And they're shooting at you while you're trying to aim, it just puts you at such a disadvantage.

There's a reason hardly anybody uses it as a regular sidearm. I hardly ever see anybody with it.

Domination is best for scoring points quick, lots of quick fire infantry action, lots of objectives to capture / defend and you can speed it up even more by playing as medic by healing and reviving everybody you can.

Just getting constant disconnects on everything today. Every server seems to have a very low ping rate. Internet is all fine my end so no idea what is going on.

So had my first online session earlier, was playing conquest and I absolutely suck, think I killed 3 people in total over 40 mins or so, however I still enjoyed it so fingers crossed I will get better.

One difference is when I used to play 1942 it was with mates using teamspeak, whereas running about trying to help people but without using chat and really knowing what objectives people were going just ended up a mess.

I'd start with TDM or Domination so you can get a feel for the game and maps first.
