Had a good game with Spooky-Willow in my squad last night, ended up in the big plane and for some reason the enemy didn't try and shoot it down and with me on the big gun and another guy on the cannon we kept calling out and shooting the same targets. Just kept racking up the points
Sorry if I wasn't all there or if you were chatting, It was my first proper go on BF4 since I have had no net for over a month! Getting used to the pad far faster than I thought after K+M for so long, I do find that the DS4 is far more accurate than the DS3 so that helps greatly.
Still trying to figure out the game at the moment so I'm just running around everywhere

didn't realise you could do this.
going to unlock the mtar so i can see what it's all about.
are there any other weapon unlocks worth doing?
currently trying to unlock mortar as well
Quite frequently losing Chat connections while playing this game, not sure if it happens on any others, but i get a CE error then cant rejoin for a few minutes.
Also NAT isues, i have NAT type 2 which i cant change, each time a new person joins a chat i get a error and have to leave/rejoin, really frustrating.
PS4, anyone else suffer this ?

Do you have to activate the assignment somehow? (don't think you do, im sure I keep seeing 1/2 kills from it)
I've just got the 4 required kills twice and still no multi-talent reward, Did it once and nothing popped up so I thought I may have missed a kill so the second round made sure I got 2 kills with each gun. Nothing popped up.
And now I can't access my battlelog/origin account and their help team are useless.

Yeah one of the many issues with PS4.
I wish we could have 32 player Conquest and just have slightly smaller maps. Might get rid if some of the lag issues.
Us lot should try Domination or TDM one night. If we can get 2 squads on one team we should win every match.

NAT 2 means it's working perfectly.
iirc
NAT 1 means your directly connected to the internet.
NAT 2 means your connected to the internet through a router and it's set up properly.
NAT 3 means your connected to the internet through a router but it's not set up properly.
stick the PS4 in DMZ mode by assigning it a static IP by a unique identifier such as mac address.
i'm having zero issues but i have mine in nat 2, static IP and in DMZ

We all just tend to follow whoever is on first rather than set it up properly.
Especially if say 6 of us are on, rather than splitting into 2 groups of 3, they normally all pile into one squad leaving one guy on his own, etc.
If your planning on teaming up and playing a small mode then it has to be domination, with 1 squad on 1 flag and another squad on the other.
Forget about the third flag, if we hold 2 for the whole game we win.
TDM is completely random, you spawn in random locations, it's all over the place, trying to play together on that would be impossible.

Not getting any major issues to be honest. Considering its an online game it's never going to be bug/lag free. Not even had a crash for a while, touch wood.

Oh I was following orders and doing the objectives that were set, I always do...even managed to do a few revives aswell
Still trying to get to grips with using the pad, the menu's etc. How do I use those battlepacks?

there is a battlepacks menu within the my soldier menu iirc
once you see a briefcase on screen you have to open every single one individually.
to apply bonuses you need to be in a game and hit options then move to the right and select the bonus.
Randoms suck
kitch9 did you re download every map pack in the game? That's what I had to do so I could get the Mtar back, after swapping my xbox(Thanks to the drive failing)
Good thinking, I forgot to redownload China Rising.
Will have to try that then.
Second assualt is due on the 18th for premiums, 2 week later for us non prems.
and more info on Naval Strike has been revealed including a revised Titan mode from BF2142.
