Does this look Photoshopped?

the guys just holding it arms stretched right out so it's far closer to the camera and so appears bigger than it actually is
 
It does look shopped to me. Just doesn't sit right and things like teh shadow of teh cats tail is non existent in comparison to the heads.

Shadow is there; bottom-right of the white sheet, where you'd expect it when lighting from above the camera.

I think it's just a case of 2 or 3 lights being used to separate the 2 subjects, which, as said, are arms-length apart. Looks a little odd to glance at, but seems genuine to me.

Certainly photoshopped, or the very least they've tried to add fake bokeh. The distance:blur ratio just doesn't add up.



Don't do much photography with proper cameras then? Telephotos can have very short depth of field, particularly with the shutter wide open to take a picture indoors. Get the focus a little and wrong, and only a small part of the object will be in focus, all on one plane. That in that photo.
