I was thinking the same about Henderson. Two years if you said we'd be looking to him to turn this round you'd have been laughed at.

Lets be honest, Dalglish woefully mismanaged him and he's had to prove his worth to Rodgers which he's done and more. BaZ still doesn't rate him though

Edit: Like Allen was going to get taken off, what was I thinking. He cost £15 million and must be played.

Pens like that drive me nuts. The impact did nothing to his feet but he just sat down. It was a pen and I cant think of a better system regarding what kind of contact merits a penalty but that clearly stunk.

I agree, but the issue is that players shouldn't have to go down to "claim" the foul. It was a clear foul, and by going down Suarez is saying "I'll take the foul please".

Perhaps there needs to be a system which lets players call a mark if there's a foul, a bit like rugby players do if they catch it in their 22.

Just it was a little nibble on the ankles in a position where he wasnt really threatening - soft penalty to give away.
