The FA CUP Fifth Round - 15/16/17 February 2014 *** Spoilers ***

Sanogo is marginally shorter than Giroud(apparently), he also looks slimmer than GIroud, yet he's put up such a physical battle that Giroud is completely unable to. Making both CB's work, every long ball is a fight for the defence, uncomfortable and causing mistakes(which most haven't had the extra runner to take advantage of). You have to have a striker who can occupy and push back the opposition defence.

Gerrard makes a good pass, Gray needs to change his cracks.

And kicking someone in the shin isn't?

No? Fouls happen, but for me, it should be enough for someone to actually be impeded. A tiny clip on the ankle, when someone is stood there isn't even remotely close to put someone on their arse, or even stop them doing what they want to do with the ball. Obstruction and shirt pulling aren't an attempt to win the ball hence why they're fouls every day of the week.

I agree he has had a very solid game.

He is very athletic, great pace, strengh - don't get me wrong he needs work but there is great potential there.
