Absolutely perfect trailer for this film.

Introduces the characters to everyone, in a comedic way with dark undertones, exactly what i expected from James Gunn. Can't wait.

Some notes:

Peter Quill's ego, spot on. Headphones and cheesy music
Rocket's snarls and attitude look great, with his hackles getting up.
Groot's bending down and slight smile, creepy.
Drax is a beast, all sorts of built up energy, nervous movements.
Gamora, better than i'd expected visually.
Ronan the Accuser lifting Drax off his feat.
Prison breakout sequence of carnage by the looks of it. Maybe got themselves put there on purpose to gain access to someone?

Even before the trailer, which looks awesome, Zoe Saldana as Gamora and Karen Gillan as Nebula had sold it for me. Also explains Benicio del Toro's 'The Collector' at the end of Thor 2.

Not really feeling it, like most marvel debut trailers its seems off but like most marvel films the final products are still fun so Ill wait and see.

Excluding X-Men and Spiderman everything Marvel is in the same universe with the film stuff, (obviously the comics don't have this divide because Marvel own everything).

The Thor films sort of bridge out into 'Marvel Cosmic' territory a bit but GotG is probably Marvel's riskiest film because it's pure space antics - Peter Quill/Starlord is the only character from Earth and even then he's only half-human. They're not in the film but Marvel Cosmic is Galactus/Silver Surfer stuff, threats to galaxies/the universe, god-like cosmic entities etc - it makes the Avengers seem like small fry.
